Damn, wish I had been on that learning curve a year ago, I'm not at the recursive part yet, but boy, yeah adversarial reviews I can vouch for for sure. ditto on human code review part, we're obsolete on that one.

The rare exception for me is when the source code itself IS the harness.

With rare exceptions, I stopped writing source code back in March. I've never been so productive ever in my career.

To monitor how many times you put on makeup. Or tell your insurance provider you're putting on makeup while you're (hopefully) at a stop light :P

"a use case live on mainnet" - that might be a bridge too far. The requirement was that the cost operating a node must be rounding error on the member's overall balance sheet. The idea is not be reliant on making money off of the network. Both Good and the fatal flaw.

A little feedback to #microsoft, If I'm using your expensive pay-for professional IDE that's been optimized for humans for over 20 years now, please don't mess it up with aggressive nonsensical unhelpful ai slop completions. That's what I use the AI CLI for. Different tool.

We also had the fortune of meeting with Senator Gillibrand’s office, Congressman French Hill, Congressman Timmons, and Congressman Steil. We appreciate their continued engagement and commitment to a US legislative framework for digital assets.
Last week we met with the OCC, SEC Crypto Taskforce, and White House Council of Economic Advisers as part of the UKxUS Washington delegation. Despite the CLARITY acts delay, it is clear that Washington still remains committed to ensuring the US leads in onchain capital markets.

i have a degree in electrical engineering i dont mess with hardware for the same reason i dont mess with linux it’s a pain in the ass… but not any more! i can talk to my ai harness on my omarchy linux machine out loud while i work… and i gave it vision so it can see my circuits and give feedback… and it can ssh into my controller and install/run code… and it can ship prints to my 3d printer… right here it is controlling a laser and taking test readings and telling me how to adjust the sensor in realtime… it feels like magic!!!

Today, as co-founder and CEO, I couldn’t be prouder to introduce Monolith and our mission to bring onchain institutional derivatives to the US - starting with energy. Over my career in systematic trading, market making, and designing institutional-grade risk systems for digital assets - two things became clear: (1) Markets can, and should be, global, programmable and always on. (2) Institutions were never going to accept the risk, governance and market-structure shortcomings of legacy onchain finance. Instead, the select benefits of being onchain would need to fit into the regulatory framework and market protections that already supports global finance. For the first time, I believe there is now a real regulatory path to do that in the US, and bring with it the benefits of tokenization and 24/7 markets. This is a once-in-a-generation chance to help define what regulated financial markets look like when the infrastructure is finally built for the internet age. We intend to be at the center of it.
Introducing Monolith, the end-to-end US venue for onchain institutional commodity derivatives. Tokenize & collateralize any eligible physical or digital asset and hedge it against 24/7 oil and gas futures. This is the future being built at monolith.finance.
