Wow, modern console gaming really sucks ass. Everyone in the stack trying to capture network effect and direct relationship with players. Add in 100GB+ downloads for cross platform games that the kids wanted to play and nearly 200GB for console native games. Finish it off with a few system updates, account linking hoops, and UI design focused on upsells…way to ruin a kids birthday surprise present!
