RIP Danny V
Danny Ventura was everything anyone could want in a boss, mentor, and friend.
He jumpstarted the career of hundreds on the high school sports desk at the Boston Herald including my own.
His joy was contagious and humor infectious. His stories were classics and impact immeasurable. Thank you for all the memories, DV. You will be missed.

Congratulations to all of our 2026 Student-Athletes that are competing in college next year!
Players, parents, coaches. Help grow HS baseball in Massachusetts, give these guys a follow.
Well. We have sat on this long enough. After months of planning, we are proud to announce that we are launching a second site. One dedicated to my other sports passion in life, baseball. Boston Baseball Journal is “soft” launching this spring with a full coverage launch by next spring. We will be covering the Red Sox, college baseball, MIAA and NEPSAC Baseball. We will do some Cape League and AAU stuff as well. Please give us a follow on X at @BostonBBJournal and on Instagram at bostonbbjournal and Tik Tok at bostonbbjournal. We are “All Baseball, All the Time.”
