DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash is now publicly available on App, Web, and API. Our first flagship model with native multimodal support. Faster. More capable. Lower price. Open weights as usual.
Signal's Contact Discovery automatically sends your contact list information to an SGX enclave in the cloud.
V12 broke into that enclave and leaked the key, allowing the server host to decrypt everything.
Two separate critical bugs: arbitrary read and RCE.
Here's how. 🧵

We built a small biped robot you can teach new tricks to.
Train it in simulation, run it on the real thing. Meet Microduck 🦆
$399, shipping before Christmas.

Cut your Claude/Codex token usage with this one trick
1. Download pi.dev (free & oss)
2. Drop 20$ in platform.deepseek.com
3. Make a skill called delegate-wave
4. In Agents.md note: "always use delegate wave"
"Use pi in tmux with deepseek-v4-pro/deepseek-v4-flash" All read, discovery, and changes should be delegated to pi. Your role is to review and delegate"
95%+ reduction in costs

Breaking: DeepSeek is building a Claude Code killer.
They tested “DeepSeek Harness” their official coding agent.
Only open-source Agent Harness developers are being invited right now, Submit your GitHub & best project for access
Recent V4 coding benchmarks were already run on their own Harness.
Claude Code and Codex just got a new problem.

Quick tip for DGX Spark owners if you want your Spark to automatically power on after a power loss 👇
Go to your bios, and make sure After Power Loss Behavior is set to [Auto Boot]
Some units have this enabled by default while others don't.

We are still monitoring and expanding our investigation into the Coldcard weak-entropy hacks.
The pattern that identified Wave 1 was identified by engineers at @blocks, but we identified the patterns of Waves 2 and 3 thanks specifically to victims coming forward. While we know it’s hard, sharing your story, addresses, and TXIDs helps everyone, not just you.
Please keep sharing your victim addresses and TXIDs with @intangiblecoins. We do not need your personal identifying information to assist you.
We continue to share our findings with US authorities, SEAL, crypto exchanges, and cyber investigators.
We will publish a substantive update about the state of our investigation in a few hours.
🚨 A 3rd wave in what we suspect are hacks of Coldcard-generated addresses has been identified in which 207.7294 BTC has been drained.
Our estimated observed size of the Coldcard hack is now 1,367.05 BTC (~$88.6m) across 4,585 addresses.

Dear COLDCARD attackers,
Congratulations. You successfully found a bug, exploited, and have collectively gathered around 1,500 bitcoin.
Now you are sitting on one of the most blacklisted coin stacks in history. It will be nearly impossible for you to exchange for currency or deal with any institution. Every move you make will be highly scrutinized and tracked. Presumably for the rest of your lives, you will be looking over your shoulder.
I suggest you plea with CoinKite to return all stolen funds in return for an audit fee of 5% of the loot. This way your work is rewarded and you are able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Respectfully,

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: ICD reconstructed the largest verified COLDCARD theft on-chain: 594.48 BTC drained from 500 addresses in 15 minutes and 18 seconds.
The attacker exploited a vulnerability by rebuilding COLDCARD's faulty seed generator on their own machine, produced the limited set of seeds it could ever have made, derived the Bitcoin addresses for each one, and checked them against the public blockchain. Every funded match was a live wallet, and the key to it.
The flaw: a March 2021 build error left COLDCARD building seeds from predictable device and clock values instead of true randomness, shrinking the pool of possible seeds from astronomical to searchable, about 40 bits on an Mk3, where 128 was intended. The PIN, the air gap and the secure element were all guarding a key that could be recreated from scratch.
Largest verified sweep: 594.48 BTC from 500 addresses in four blocks on 30 July, all it took was 15 minutes 18 seconds by block timestamps.

You literally closed by account without reason and have kept nearly £12,000 you have not returned.
You said it was because of Bitcoin, but I never used @wise to buy Bitcoin. It turned out it was because a Bitcoin company paid an invoice.
You froze my account, froze my funds and have not returned a VAT payment that was sent to you.
