Meet convicted sex offender and MAGAt Brandon Beckham, a far-right Republican politician and small business owner from Utah who was led out of a Provo courtroom in handcuffs on October 1, 2026. Beckham previously served as an elected member of the governing body for the Utah Republican Party and campaigned heavily as a conservative candidate for Utah Senate District 23. His political aspirations permanently unraveled when a jury convicted him of felony forcible sexual abuse, a pattern of behavior he spent more than four years attempting to evade through three separate legal trials before finally being sentenced to serve 364 days in the Utah County jail. The brutal reality of the allegations dates back to June 22, 2021, when a female social acquaintance arrived at a residence in Pleasant Grove to watch a movie. According to sworn court documents, when the woman briefly stepped out of the room and returned, she discovered Beckham had laid a blanket on the floor, turned on battery-operated candles, and stripped down to his underwear. Beckham aggressively ordered the victim to give him a massage and demanded that she massage his buttocks. When she refused his demands and told him multiple times to "knock it off," Beckham used physical force to pin her down to the ground, aggressively stripped off her clothing, and forced her to engage in sexual activity while holding her down, leaving her visibly bruised. Following a prompt report to the Pleasant Grove Police Department, investigators secured a warrant to record a subsequent phone call between Beckham and the survivor. In the incriminating recording played for the jury, Beckham explicitly admitted to his actions, stating, "I got a little out of hand there. I got a little too wild... It just happened". Armed with this evidence, prosecutors officially hit him with second-degree felony charges in February 2022, just days before he deceptively launched his campaign for the Utah State Senate.
