BREAKING: A New York City watchdog group organized by Citizen Journalist Nick Shirley has uncovered a "free grocery store" scam that is raking in millions for the Mamdani family.
According to the group, Mamdani's brother, Eli Mohammed Mamdani, has been buying decrepit old buildings from the city for next to nothing.
"The plan was simple," said local Shirley Watchdog Chapter leader Joseph Barron, "The mayor's brother buys condemned property from the city for pennies on the dollar, then he sells it right back for the 'free grocery store' program at market value."
Once the city has the property it already owned, Mamdani hires his cousin Rufus Theodore Mamdani's construction company to bring it up to code.
"All told, each store could rake in as much as $5 million for the Mamdani family."

- San Francisco’s Homeward Bound and Journey Home programs. These are city programs that have relocated thousands of homeless people out of the city by bus or other means to destinations across the United States
- There are For-profit “human brokers” in the addiction treatment industry where they take the homeless and send them to other states to get paid for enrolling them into treatment program. There are TONS of companies getting paid to do this
There are even medical facilities in California, Florida and all over that pay companies for referral fees for thousands of new patients every month

What’s terrifying about this clip isn’t their ideals…these sweet gals’ hearts are certainly in the right place. What’s terrifying is they have the civic, political, and economic literacy of a 9 year old. I don’t know how you get to that age with ZERO understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, labor costs…but a lot of folks think that medicine and MRIs and hospitals just materialize out of thin air like unicorn farts. They think rich people don’t pay taxes, even though the top 1% fund 40% of government with their taxes already, and yet 40% of all Americans contribute ZERO federal income tax at all. These people don’t understand that you could tax the wealthy at 100% and it would only fund the government for 120 days. Then you’re screwed.
Too many Americans simply have zero understanding of how anything works, and even though they’re living in the easiest times in human history, they think things are “terrible out there”. These commie scammers roll through and promise them things that sound great, but aren’t possible in reality, and have devastating consequences if tried…but because they don’t know anything, they fall for it. This is a small town in the heartland, not some coastal college campus.
When a community starts letting the devil lead off its public meetings, something has gone badly wrong with the people running the show.
Ottumwa residents deserve answers about how this got on the agenda and who signed off on it.
