This post was the natural coalescence of my @boyscouts and @StephenKing fandoms. blog.scoutingmagazine.org/20…

More than half of all Stephen King novels include a Scouting reference

Stephen King uses Scouts and Scouting as a kind of shorthand for a range of character traits, including trustworthiness, bravery and preparedness.

It’s the #EagleScoutChallenge! Share your Eagle project, and invite another Eagle Scout (or 3) to do the same. For mine, we travel way back to 1998, when we built a deck and benches at the @HeardNSM. What was your Eagle project, @joshhart @ShaneVictorino @TonyCavalero?

I'm running the #UnitedNYCHalf to support the @WWF. I've been a fan of their work ever since I started wearing the "panda patch" on my uniform as a Scout. I would appreciate any support you might be able to provide in any amount. wwf.worldwildlife.org/goto/b…
