My toxic trait is…If you stop doing the things you used to do, the same things you introduced in the beginning of the fridship/relationship, I’ll take it as a sign you’re pulling away. Maybe it’s cause you’ve gotten too comfortable
Idk who need to hear this, Age doesn't make you wise, it just means time didn't kill you. “respect your elders” they say. Back when the elders were the keepers of wisdom, when their experiences actually served as guidance but the dynamic has shifted.
And they truly think just because they're of age, they're above accountability, as if years lived equates to lessons learned. We've been traditionally bullied into this idea that just because somebody's older, they're wiser, as if wisdom is a side effect of aging.
