1/2 Today at @Money2020, @evervault launched Browser Tokens on stage.
Your AI agent checks out with stand-in card details. Evervault swaps in the real card on the way to the merchant, so the agent never sees it.

Why is GPT-6 Astra so much faster at computer use than other models?
A big part of it is the accessibility tree: the same thing screen readers use. It's easier for a model to read than a screenshot, and it uses fewer tokens.

Agents should never directly see your credentials when you log in.
That's why we shipped Secrets, let agents use encrypted credentials at runtime without ever seeing them.
Functions and Secrets are free for all Browserbase users, try them out and lmk what you think!

Gemini 4 Argon is live in Stagehand.
It outperforms Fable 5.1 on computer use tasks with @eve and @pidotdev harnesses, while being roughly around the same cost/speed.
You can try the model in our playground at gemini.browserbase.com.
In NYC for @aiDotEngineer? Join us off the conference floor tomorrow for a night of ping pong and drinks with @Modal, @crewAIInc @GoogleCloud, @GoogleDeepMind, @medal_tv, @gen_intuition, @Browserbase, and @temporalio.

Tech’s biggest fight right now: should AI agents get the same access to the web that you do?

Stagehand supports @ClaudeDevs' new Tool SDK, converting model actions into browser actions.
Follow our quickstart guide to build your first browser agent with Claude and Stagehand.

Computer use and browser use toolsets are now built into the Python and TypeScript SDKs for Claude.
The API tells you what Claude wants to click or type.
Previously, you had to write your own loop and map clicks and keystrokes to commands, but the SDKs now run the loop and send actions to drivers.

Fireflies hit a $1B valuation on $19M raised. So why do they give their core software away for free?
@krishramineni joined me on Navigators to explain what Fireflies charges for instead of traditional SaaS and where the real value is.
00:00 Intro: a unicorn that gives its software away
01:48 Years of failed products

08:41 The support agent that handles more tickets than any human
10:37 Why Fireflies won't train on customer data
11:55 Open weight models and an unlimited free tier
13:19 Why app companies need a model router
16:05 "I don't think you can vibe code a CRM"
17:32 SaaS goes free, agentic work gets paid
19:47 Become infrastructure or become a connector

As always, you can watch the full conversation on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
The DMV probably isn’t spinning up an MCP server anytime soon. 😅
@pk_iv (@browserbase) on why agents need to handle both sides of the web: new protocols and the regular human ways we log in, navigate, and get things done.

Computer use models are getting really fast.
Opus 5 (released in July '26) averages 678s per task while newer models like Opus 5.5 average 326s, ~2x speed up.

One agent to rule them all? @pk_iv of @browserbase doesn’t think so. At the Machine Earning AI Summit, he predicts a growing mix of specialized personal agents, with more competition.

Stagehand can use Stripe's new WebMCP tools in checkout pages.
Run page.tools() to see what WebMCP connectors a page exposes. With Stripe, you can use Stagehand to add items to cart and complete the checkout with native tools.
Hi internet! We went ahead and upgraded all @stripe hosted checkout pages for 7.8M businesses—0.45% of the world’s GDP—with WebMCP so agents can more efficiently buy. Our evals show this reduces checkout latency by 39% and token usage by 42%.
