The headline you didn’t see yesterday
Instead it’s busy A&E overwhelmed with patients unable to get GP appts
In reality hospital A&E is seeing no more than 2019, hospital OPD only 90% activity & hospitals barely managing the 7m waiting for treatments, 1.5m for investigations

For those who don't fully understand what is up with the NHS, here is a thread for you that might help.

The moral distress is so palpable at the moment. Unthinkable and immoral that it could get worse. Well said @KamilaRCGP

Life-affirming.

With everything else going on the sense of decline is palpable. Of course, we need more GPs , doctors , dentists which costs money but we also need new models, increase digital utility, greater workforce flexibility and solutions to fix wider problems. theguardian.com/commentisfre…

What kind of message does this send out if neither @BorisJohnson @RishiSunak plan to isolate on the eve of FreedomDay. Role models not! I’m d/vaccinated & had to self-isolate for the last week putting extra work demands on my work colleagues doing their best to weather the storm.

Very chuffed to be highly commended in our category - GP Federation of the Year in the #HSJAwards. 6 years building our at scale organisation of all the GP practices in #TowerHamlets. Thanks to our inspirational founders and everyone who works in #thgpcaregroup and our practices.

Taking a breather at our Local Vaccination Centre at Queen Mary’s University London to watch the #HSJAwards where @THGPCareGroup is a finalist. Whatever the outcome we’re very proud to get to the finals. Thank you team 😃🙏
