Our massive thanks to all the presenters and participants - the worked examples/modules of how to apply #ArtificialIntelligence #MachineLearning in many aspects of #Physics were extremely illuminating.
This included #GraphNeuralNetworks #SupervisedLearning #InverseScattering #LLMs #Autoencoders #GenerativeAI.
Videos of each module (as well as of our AI in Physics panel discussion) will be posted on YouTube very shortly.
Links for Python notebooks and videos are accessible on Google Drive via retroactive-registration on our Winter School home page:

Starting this Monday 13th and running through Thursday we will be holding a virtual winter school on AI techniques for graduate physicists (and advanced undergraduates) organized by @Brown_CFPU and @brown_physics.
This will include 7 modules (2.5 hours each) of practical examples applying AI techniques in physics case studies. All case studies use Jupyter-python notebooks and are presented live for you to participate in.
Simple instructions for registration and full schedule are included in this lindico link indico.physics.brown.edu/e/A…
On Monday 13h00 Eastern we kick off with a panel discussion "What do we need AI to be capable of to really propel physics forward?"
The panel is composed of :
- Kyle Cranmer (University of Wisconsin-Madison),
- Jim Halverson (Northeastern University),
- Max Tegmark (MIT),
Moderated by myself
The modules will then follow on Monday afternoon through Thursday.
If you have time, hope to see you at one or more of the sessions,
Yours, Rick
