Before I left, my consultant (in front of 4 other consultants, at midnight) said:
1) Are you OK?
2) please sit down for 5 mins before you go.
3) have a drink and something to eat.
4) text me when you get home.

Just spent the last 10 hours sat in hospital with a resident being treated for sepsis. We have her hospital passport to every member of staff and the only nurse to read it was a @UCLanNurses student! Medical professionals need to start reading #hospitalpassports! @WeLDnurses
