Brookside has once again been awarded the Music Mark for our dedication to music education. It sits proudly alongside our School Games Gold Award for dedication to school physical education and sport, reflecting our commitment to nurturing both the arts and athletics.
Brookside's Annual Spelling Bee took place yesterday. It was run by our learning leaders. The winners for each category were presented with a Spelling Bee certificate. Well done to our winners and all the children who participated.
The children enjoyed a visit from Sir Ed Davey and Lisa Smart today. Making jam sandwiches with the Hoot Owls, playing a maths game with our Snowy Owls, before a question and answer session with the Bay Owls.
The children loved their DRUHM session in school today. Drumming whilst being active to music. "The best PE lesson ever!" " I didn't want it to end!"
Today Eagle Owls tackled their bunting. We are working on introducing ourselves to @LadybridgePS for the @linking
