Dr. Justin S. Williams spent yesterday with Sue Paterno as his book “More Than A Jersey” launched. It chronicles his three seasons playing for the legendary Joe Paterno in the 1990s. In a WR room that consisted of Bobby Engram/Terry Smith/OJ McDuffie/Ricky Sayles, Williams worked his way from “foreign” team to varsity. Though Williams played little (10 career catches/1 TD), he heeded JoePa’ word about the importance of a Penn State education. Earned three varsity letters. More importantly, he earned his BA & his Masters. Justin went on to get his PhD in education at Hofstra. He is a highly-successful school administrator. #ThursdayTasteTreat: Kitchen Garden Had breakfast at the hottest new place in Happy Valley. Again. Reviewed it about a month ago on here (4.5 buttons out of 5). Just as incredible today. Had their meat lovers omelet with a side of their home fries. Their recipes feature homemade Persian delicacies. Meats I never heard of. Mouthwatering. Again. Teas. Iced teas. Coffees. Iced coffees. Stunning decor. Mammoth. Immaculately clean. Incredible lounge area inside the front door where readers can relax on couches/comfy chairs straight out of a 5-star hotel (like the Nittany Lion Inn). Can pop open your laptop or tablet/sip on your perfectly-crafted brew and much on one of their pastries. 🥐 Can’t wait to try it for lunch. 🥙 Met Kayla, one of the owners. Penn Stater. Class of 2023.
