Retail shut out of every IPO ever except the new crop? Seems like a good sign!
We’re expanding access to the IPO market, so that more of our customers can participate. Starting today, October 19, we’re reducing the eligibility minimum to participate in IPOs, Follow Ons and Secondary offerings to $25,000 in retail assets (e.g., brokerage accounts, etc.). “Pray for the landlords” was kind of a joke line and people are revealing just how much they hate landlords
This has the potential to go disastrously for them. In any asset it has that possibility
Should they not be compensated for taking that risk?
Top Golf is one of those things you go to once for a corporate outing and then never again. These and all the bar putt putt places are toast
Man these things gotta be all shuttering soon
Pray for the landlords. Imagine having to repurpose this space
Top Golf is currently offering an Eat and Play combo Mon-Thursday from 4pm-close
Get Two entrees and 1.5 hours of play for $45 when you book online with code COMBO

My fiance has spent thousands of dollars there and I don’t think she’s ever kept an item

I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.
"Jeremiah Smith is the better receiver but Malachi Toney is the better football player. Did you see he threw the 2 pt conversion last night?"
"Sir, please take your coffee and leave. The line is very long."
My timeline is Paris being burned to the ground and Red Rising hype videos
It’s a lot of mixed emotions
Seeing a lot of Red Rising sucks posting on the TL
Guys. It’s a YA fantasy series
If you’re expecting some piece of literary greatness read Tolstoy or some shit
Kick back. Relax. Enjoy a fun and epic series with great characters and a lot of violence
This might be unpopular but I really wanted an animated series for this
This needs to be a series and to build the world properly would cost way too much for live action
A ‘RED RISING’ film adaptation is officially in development at Paramount.
Francis Lawrence (‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’) is set to direct.

@SteveFrenchAMZ hopefully we get some good figures out of this. Finally some IP I’m an expert in!
Since the iPhone it feels like all we’ve gotten is better software and ways for screen time to be monetized and maximized
Elon is pushing the boundaries of what we can do in the physical world
It’s what we dreamed of as children. Not a more efficient CRM
