Patriotism is love of country and you can't love your country if you aren't willing to serve, work, and even sacrifice for her. Our veterans are some of the most extraordinary examples of this kind of patriotism; of this deep loving service. Today, Veterans Day, we honor them. May we rise to be worthy of their sacrifice and service. May we cherish them not just with words and gestures, but also with supporting them and investing in their health, well being, and opportunity. I am proud of the extraordinary strides for veterans health care, education, and well being we have helped achieved from my office. I commit to continue to honor them through my service to them. May God bless our Veterans and may we all honor and thank them.
