My book Conscious Accomplishment - How to Use Personal Achievement For Spiritual Growth is now available!
For decades I tried to achieve my way to happiness.
When this stopped working, I was forced to turn my focus inward.
Pretty quickly, I began to realize that working on my consciousness was a more direct way to improve my life.
As illuminating as this was, it also was disorienting and nerve-wracking.
Most of the examples in our culture made it seem like you either went hard after success or abandoned all that to live a monastic lifestyle.
I wondered if I was being called to leave my worldly ambitions behind if I was serious about my consciousness evolution.
Fortunately, I met a wonderful teacher who guided me towards clarity.
The call wasnāt to abandon my life as a startup entrepreneur, but to use my existing circumstances for expanding my awareness and transformation.
Gradually my company and all aspects of my life became my mirror and teacher.
Conscious Accomplishment is the book I wish I had when I started my journey.
It teaches you how to use the process of moving towards your goals for the evolution of your consciousness.
And as you do this, the ways in which you accomplish things evolves and expands.
This integrated path is not only incredibly enlivening and enriching, but also suitable for many people in our society.
If youāre interested in learning how to walk this middle path, are conscious-curious, or feel stuck while trying to balance both worlds, this book is for you.
If this resonates, you can find a link to the book belowš
And if youād like to support it reaching others, ā¤ļøand šare much appreciated!
I donāt get Halloween.
Was walking around Austin today and I just see lawns full of things representing death, fear, and darkness.
Itās fun getting my daughter dressed up, but nothing else about the holiday resonates including loading kids up with sugar.
Itās hard not participating because you want your kids to feel included.
But if that wasnāt a thing, I donāt think weād continue partaking in this one.
I like visualizing a column of white light energizing and blessing a meal before I eat it.
I canāt verify empirically this actually does anything, besides make me pause and appreciate the meal.
But thatās been enough to continue the habit.
Woke up to this text from a very successful former tech exec.
Tactics are great, but what really moves someone is sharing your raw, honest experience in a way that allows them to be seen.
This is usually what catalyzes healing and all of our stories of struggles and triumph have this potentiality to serve others in this way.
My book Conscious Accomplishment has officially been out in the wild for a year!
I wrote a new post sharing sales numbers, reflections, and learnings for anyone who aspires to write a book one day

A little hack that's been really helpful for me when working on meaty projects is to record a small video for myself at the end of my work, describing:
- where I'm leaving off
- what I am thinking through
- what I'm planning next
Watching this before I start working on the project helps minimize context gathering to get cranking!
Mainstream media is so good at intentionally ignoring things.
The fact that they reported on this is so curious. Reads like continued priming to me....
I just signed up for a two week myofascial release intensive at one of John Barnes' centers.
I am beyond stoked!
A lot of friends have asked me about different about spiritual teachers recently.
So I wrote this post on some considerations when choosing to follow a particular teacher or path

Today I spent an hour talking about galactic origins, made an intro based on a recommendation by a psychic, and did a talk on how to share your consciousness journey at work.
My weird life increasingly looks like this and I love it! š¤š»
I used to be so afraid to stop producing and publishing online.
The idea of losing "assets" or momentum that I created scared me.
These days the thing I'm most wary of is going against my inner compass.
At the end of last year, my health was in the shitter.
I had spent 4 years trying to heal while doing all these business activities and it wasn't working.
Even though I had just launched my book and a new business earlier in the year, in December I decided to stop doing everything except focus on my health.
I got off all social media, shut down my podcast, and reconfigured my business so I was out of the day to day.
And guess what?
Nothing bad really happened.
In fact, a lot of great things happened...
- My health improved.
- I realized I like life a lot better when I'm not tethered to screens.
- I made a ton of strides in my relationships, including my relationship with myself.
- I got greater clarity on what I'm really supposed to be doing with my life and am now accelerating towards it much faster than I was before.
...and now that I'm starting to emerge from hibernation, it feels wonderful to look at everything with fresh eyes.
I'm hoping this post gives someone permission to say "F*$k it! I'm taking a break from all this!"
I did and it was totally the right move.
When hard shit happens to you, itās so easy to get stuck in victimhood.
I lived in it for 4 years, trying all sorts of things to quell my rage.
A turning point for me was when I created a āfor me list.ā
I wrote about this practice today here blog.scottbritton.me/p/the-eā¦
