Girlfriend: Babe, are you busy?
Boyfriend: I’m finishing something for work. What’s wrong?
Girlfriend: Nothing. I just need to ask you something.
Boyfriend: Go ahead.
Girlfriend: If I got into serious financial trouble, would you help me?
Boyfriend: It depends on what happened and what kind of help you needed. But I’d do what I reasonably could.
Girlfriend: So you wouldn’t just send me money immediately?
Boyfriend: If you were in an emergency, I’d first want to know what was happening and how I could help.
She didn’t reply for several minutes.
Then she sent another message.
Girlfriend: I need $1,500 urgently. I don’t want to explain everything right now. Can you send it?
He called her, but she declined the call.
Boyfriend: Please pick up. I’m worried. What’s going on?
Girlfriend: If you trust me, just help me.
Boyfriend: I’m not saying I won’t help. I’m asking what the emergency is.
She became angry.
Girlfriend: Forget it. I now know where I stand in your life.

Someone really needs to explain this.
Why do we say “I slept like a baby” when babies wake up screaming every two hours?

CEO: I heard you’re planning to leave the company.
Employee: I’ve received another offer, sir, but I haven’t made a final decision.
CEO: After everything we’ve done for you? We hired you when nobody else would.
Employee: I’m grateful for that opportunity. I’ve never denied it.
CEO: Then why are you looking elsewhere?
Employee: I’ve worked here for four years. My responsibilities have doubled, but my salary has only increased once.
CEO: We gave you a $200 raise last year.
Employee: Yes, sir. Meanwhile, my responsibilities increased significantly, and I’ve trained three people who now earn almost as much as I do.
CEO: Are you saying they don’t deserve their salaries?
Employee: No. I’m saying I would also appreciate a fair review of mine.
The CEO shook his head.
CEO: Your problem is that you’re always comparing yourself with others. You need to focus on loyalty.
Employee: Sir, can I ask you something?
CEO: Go ahead.
Employee: If another company offered you twice your current salary, would you reject it out of loyalty to us?

Life becomes more peaceful when you realize that you can’t control how others think, behave, or feel. Focus on being true to yourself, living with integrity, growing into a better version of yourself, and releasing anything that isn’t yours to worry about.

MY COWORKER DISCOVERED I EARNED $4,000 A MONTH, AND HE DID SOMETHING I NEVER EXPECTED.
I had worked in the same company for three years with a colleague named Daniel.
We were close at work. We ate lunch together, shared jokes, and sometimes helped each other complete assignments.
One Monday morning, Daniel accidentally saw my salary slip on the office printer.
He didn’t say anything that day.
But from the following morning, he stopped talking to me.
I thought I had offended him, so I asked if everything was okay.
Daniel: “Everything is fine. Don’t worry about me.”
Three days later, he confronted me in the kitchen.
Daniel: “How long have you been earning $4,000 a month?”
Me: “What are you talking about?”
Daniel: “I saw your salary slip. We’ve been doing the same job for three years, yet I earn $2,200.”

Omo, if na wedding, you gats add the whole Mixed Feelings by Marrz to that playlist, and thank me later.
Men cry in relationships too.
Sometimes, a man will sit alone at night, staring at his phone, hoping for a message from the woman he loves.
He’ll act normal during the day, laugh with his friends, and pretend everything is fine. But deep down, he’s hurting.
The saddest part? Society has taught many men that expressing their pain makes them weak, so they suffer in silence.
A man crying over a woman doesn’t make him less of a man. It makes him human.
Men deserve to be loved gently, heard without judgment, and comforted when they’re hurting too.
Who comforts the man who is always expected to be strong? 💔

One thing people don't talk about enough is how difficult it is to get a remote job in tech.
I work remotely as a software engineer, and even with that experience, I know how hard it is for people trying to break into the industry.
I see developers who can build real projects, solve problems, and write clean code, yet they keep applying for jobs without getting a single interview.
Some have spent months learning JavaScript, React, Node.js, and other technologies. Some have built portfolios, improved their CVs, and applied to hundreds of openings. Still, nothing.
And the hardest part is explaining to family and friends why you are still searching when you have spent so much time learning a skill that is supposed to create opportunities.
The truth is, having tech skills doesn't automatically guarantee a job. Competition is real, entry-level opportunities are limited, and many remote positions attract applicants from all over the world.
Even though I currently have a remote job in software engineering, I don't take it for granted. I understand that many talented people are still looking for their first opportunity.
If you're one of those people, please don't conclude that you're not good enough just because you haven't been hired yet.
Keep improving, keep building, and keep applying strategically.
Getting your first remote job shouldn't feel this difficult, but for many developers, it is the reality.
For those already working remotely, what helped you land your first job?
i am still looking for more remote jobs. This is my github profile github.com/emee144

The iPhone 14 back glass comparison — now completed.
I transferred the wireless charging assembly and flash to the original back glass, paying attention to component alignment and the finishing.
This is why understanding the parts matters. A repair is not just about appearance; it’s about knowing what to transfer, how to fit it correctly and how to preserve the quality of the finished work.
At Oghills Technology Limited, we pay attention to the details.
Another iPhone 14 repair completed. 🛠️
Not all iphone back glass replacements are the same.
Here are two back glass panels: one original and one standard replacement.
Beyond appearance, internal construction, magnetic alignment, camera cutouts, fitment and finishing all matter when choosing the right panel.
For this iPhone 14 repair, I’ll be transferring the wireless charging assembly and flash to the original back glass.
The goal is to maintain the original panel while carefully transferring the required components and ensuring a clean, precise installation.
At Oghills Technology Limited, we pay attention to the details that make the difference. It’s not just about how a repair looks; it’s about how properly the job is executed.
