My Uber driver took me home all the way from LAX in silence--the only thing he said was, "This guy's a fucking moron," one time about another driver. That was it. It was great. I liked it so much I think it should be an option. Call it "The Midwestern Dad."
Within 4 minutes of watching the new @JohnRoycomic half hour, I realized I'd laughed out loud multiple times AND gotten mad at how good the jokes multiple times. You should watch this.

@brido ‘s book is SO well written, I felt sad that the alt Chicago comedy era ended - and I wasn’t even there! #books #comedy #chicago #chicagocomedy
I told my wife about some young comic I liked and she goes, "What do they talk about--the intersectionality of eating ass?" 💀
I feel like I owe @DaveHolmes @lizzycooperman and @mattlieb money. Thanks for the plugs!

The perfect amount to read of The Perfect Amount of Wrong is all of it. @Brido's new book is a deep dive, love letter to Chicago's alt comedy that incubated some of our favorite comics working today.
Run, don't walk. Ok, walk when you need to but definitely get the book. 5 Stars

I started my comedy career in Chicago- moved from D.C. & the college comedy group @gwreceSs , to take acting, voiceover and improv classes, doing standup 7 nights a week sometimes more than twice a night; eventually touring with Second City writing sketches & improvising professionally.
I was there 4 years. It was the foundation for the comedy I have created & participated in, and the man who makes you laugh today.
@brido is an incredible comedian and now author of the definitive book on that era. Order it.
