After more than a decade with @kalilinux, I was let go this week. I started in 2013 as a contractor and joined full time in 2014. I am gutted. This work was a huge part of my life, and as the only one on ARM, I do not know what the future holds for me or the project.
And here I barely finish naming a 15+ year old vulnerability after @samreich (brianredbeard.com/blog/ive_b…) and I figure out that he's changing the game again.
I find the AI generated mouth movements in Squid Game 2 really horrifying. The cheek shaking to compensate is very uncanny valley.

I'm what unforsaken underbelly of capitalist exchange did we start inserting dairy products to the true to ones gods product: bar-be-que flavoring.
I've been spending a lot of time researching the optimization of maths at the CPU level.
If you could translate one mathematical function to a #RISCV opcode what would you pick and why?
Cool... so now we're in the era of CPU security vulns being named after movies. Intel or AMD: EVERYONE GETS A SIDECHANNEL ATTACK!

This is like the bullseye of why I'm all in on RISC-V at @RedHat.
Most folks know they can get in touch with me via [email protected].
They may not know that they can *also* get in touch with me via [email protected].
You know. Keeping work and personal lives separate.
Shower thought for the legal crowd:
Do/can software patents act as an attribution mechanism in tort law?
Fortunately @cnelson told me about AI generated Seinfeld on infinite loop (twitch.tv/watchmeforever). Looks like I've got some time to kill.
Gotta admit. Walking through SeaTac at 3:30 AM on a Sunday and seeing ~30-50 TSA contractors hanging out in boarding areas staring at their phones is a little weird.
Deep OS-Int on HN right now. Just wait till they see the profile page for @ccg at @drupal.
It's no surprise that a tactical operations leader is standing on the shoulders of a project they've been contributing to for *well* over a decade. #OpenSource #SRE
I've been on the phone with @ATT support for over two hours now. I've yet to find anyone who understands the statement "AT&T has provided me with a /29. Can you configure this on the hardware managed by AT&T?"
LOL.... Meanwhile, while walking down the street to @hackerdrinkup
I'm sorry, but in the year 2022 your marketing email only has two options once it hits my inbox: "single click unsubscribe" or "flag as spam and block"
Operate outside that guidance at your peril.
