The Trump-endorsed Republican succeeds Andy Biggs in the deep-red East Valley/Pinal County seat that Trump carried by about 20 points in 2024. Lamb, who brands himself “America’s Sheriff,” campaigned on faith, family, freedom, guns, and hardline immigration enforcement. He has long ties to the constitutional sheriff movement—the idea that local sheriffs outrank federal authority and can refuse to enforce laws they deem unconstitutional. Extremism trackers link this ideology to antigovernment and historical white-supremacist roots.
