Heavy winter rains have flooded displacement tents across the #GazaStrip, leaving Palestinian families struggling to protect their children and belongings as already dire humanitarian conditions worsen. Displaced residents described spending the entire night battling rising floodwaters, with mattresses, blankets, clothing, and other essential belongings completely soaked. Some families were forced to evacuate their collapsing tents and seek shelter outdoors, while others carried their children to higher ground to keep them out of the water. With tents offering little protection against the harsh winter weather, repeated pleas for help from Gaza's survivors have remained unanswered.

Winter rains flood the tents of displaced Palestinians across #Gaza, soaking mattresses, clothes, and blankets and leaving thousands of families exposed to the cold without adequate shelter. Gaza’s Civil Defense reports that entire displacement camps have been inundated, with more than 1,500 distress calls received since the storm began. It has urged local and international organizations to provide emergency equipment and machinery to address the worsening humanitarian crisis.
