Answer: Woodland and side streets are a mixed bag. Path at Trout Lake and the CVG were clear, although Lakewood was not.

@CityofVancouver the section of Lakewood connecting the BC Parkway and the CVG (both of which are cleared of snow) needs some love and attention!

I’m at Vancouver City Park (at Richard and Smithe), and it is bonkers busy. Lots of induced demand for quality play spaces downtown!
Happy new year, @CityofVancouver! Now that holidays are over, will you be completing improvements to CVG on N Grandview Hwy and Woodland overpass? Many cars still driving on both, in areas that are closed to them. We need more than signs. Cc @christineeboyle

Hello @CityofVancouver - please fix the Woodland overpass and Grandview Highway North. Drivers continue to ignore the signs, and this situation is an accident waiting to happen.

Hi @CityofVancouver, once again asking that you improve the Woodland Overpass to prevent drivers from using it as a shortcut *and* asking you to require your own drivers to obey law here. A city employee in vehicle A5717 drove across at 9:27am. License clear in photo.

So done with Vancouver drivers rolling through red lights. No effort to even slow down. This seems like low hanging fruit for enforcement and would make a huge difference for experience and safety of pedestrians and cyclists.

Hot tip: if you can’t stop before the amber phase turns red, you are driving too fast.
