I’m currently working on another update for SpaceSync that improves the tracking a lot! The next update adds absolute positioning of Lighthouse devices inside the SLAM HMD tracking space. SpaceSync can now perform an absolute calibration and continuously re-sync the Lighthouse tracking space against the SLAM HMD space without accumulating yaw, pitch, or roll drift. In this video, I’m shaking my headset pretty aggressively up and down to show how precise the syncing stays. It’s basically a stress test to see whether the Index controllers remain perfectly aligned even during fast HMD movement. This still requires a Vive Tracker 3.0 on your head.
