I’m already grinding for MLB even if we don’t have a season. I cannot wait to draft. You don’t wanna be in a lobby with me this year I promise.

The voters have spoken, and I want to extend my congratulations to James Talarico on his election to the U.S. Senate. I look forward to meeting him and offering my assistance with his transition as he prepares to serve Texans in the U.S. Senate.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

Jarod is on a heater. And honestly, it’s not a heater when you grind the way he does. Crushes MLB, crushes NFL. Follow him on x, follow him on substack. Hear more about his process on YouTube. We just got to 100 subs, pumped to hear about his sweat and swap decisions this week.
I had some fun late swapping to take down the Power Sweep on DK and then capped off the week with a Prime Time Palooza victory. May the run good never stop. This week’s main slate review is linked below:

Replying to @EdKrassen
Talarico currently says he opposes gender-reassignment surgery for minors and would support a national ban. In 2023 he voted against Texas SB 14, which banned surgeries, blockers, and hormones for minors, calling it overly broad while supporting narrower amendments. His past comments left care decisions to parents and doctors. Elon is not my daddy.

Piping hot Texas early voting data (days 1-2) straight out of the oven from the incomparable @Thorongil16
TX IPEV IMPORTANT COUNTIES: Day 2 was good for Dems, though significantly less so than Day 1. In 16 counties representative of the state, the implied 2024 partisanship is still well-left of where the first two days of EV were 2 years ago. If I had all of the remaining 238 counties the recalled vote would probably be something like Trump +6 (8 point shift left from 2024). Best points for Dems: Hispanic voters (Hidalgo, Cameron) Worst points for Dems: non-college whites (Hardin, Randall) are barely budging. But... their turnout is terrible so far. Lots of non-voters that are skewing young/nonwhite. White voters are really punching below their weight even in urban areas. Indians in Collin/Fort Bend are possibly beginning to pop off in turnout/bluer recall. More updates will be made - but here is where we are in day 2 of IPEV. How many World Series between these three? How many do the Dodgers have in the last six years?
Major League Baseball wants a salary cap and says it's to ensure smaller-market, lower-payroll teams can win in the postseason. Milwaukee, Cleveland and Tampa Bay are winning without one. Free at ESPN, how to reconcile the 2026 postseason and cap talk: espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/5016…

I really love this post from Brad & it’s something I’ve been thinking about too. I love these games and I’ve proven that I’m profitable. Which is a lot of fun and I’m very grateful. However the mental & life tax is real: addiction, time, lack of sleep etc Let’s talk about it⬇️
Happy Friday. If anyone has any interest in this and wants to help out or has an idea let me know in DMs.

Can't believe this team pulled through while missing a Gavin Williams start. Shoutout to Lawrence Butler and Emmet Sheehan for the late push. What a ride.
Thankfully, I'm in the hunt for the top spot in the Dinger finals, tied at 4th. With day 10/14 finished, I'm looking at my path to 1st place and seeing what it'll take to get there.

I don’t think ppl realize how hard these two work. I don’t think their employer does. Every contest offering, for every sport, requires them to size, schedule, release and vet. Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. while you’re enjoying family time and anons are whining about sizing/structures/payouts, Neumy and Hope were there grinding. Literally no days off. A beautiful thankless endeavour that most assumed was automated. Yet, they’ve remained committed, creative, accurate and handled the egg accounts shouting into the void with class. So much love for Neumy, Hope and those who joined along the way.
I want to shoutout @hopebishop and @Neumy2 who kept coming out with creative contests for Underdog that made it a blast to draft on over the past few years

Drafts community, I have some not fun news to share. Right after kickoff on Wednesday, we will be shutting down Drafts in seven states: MA, MD, MI, MS, NJ, PA and OH. Already entered drafts will continue as normal, but in those states you won’t be able to enter new drafts. If you’re a drafter in one of those states, I’m really sorry. This sucks, but I want to explain why. Those states have taken a legal viewpoint we disagree with: if we offer our CFTC-licensed products we cannot offer fantasy sports in those states. So we had to choose. We could keep our fantasy licenses in those states, or surrender the licenses and offer effectively our full experience, minus Drafts. It sucks. I love Drafts. It was the first game we ever launched and a big part of what built Underdog. Even though they don’t get anywhere near the usage of our other offerings, we still care deeply about them. And it pains me that we can’t do right by the Drafts community and offer the best experience possible to the most customers. We have some ideas about how to get Drafts back to more customers, but it’s too early to commit to anything yet. I’m optimistic, and we’re definitely going to try. But until then, I don’t think there’s really anything I can say other than I’m sorry.
