Just voted by far my biggest account, with Fidelity roth in favor of every recommendation of the Tesla board and Elon. In other words, for the directors, the full comp package, the xai option investment, the auditors; and AGAINST the proposed-by-outsiders, voting threshold changes, etc, to the end. This is KEY, and will be voting my four children's shares all that way, have voted one child at Fidelity, and will vote the Vanguard and Merrill Lynch, and Wells Fargo accounts, some mine, some my children's as soon as these institutions allow me to. I have also switched all Tesla shares from Chas Schwab since they voted against us in the previous vote. FAFO Schwab! These are large, all-in hodlings. My wife is doing likewise. Pay the man! Thank you, Texas! LETS GO TESLA!!! 🙃🥳

Grok Bot is basically Optimus before the body is ready. Think about it: gathering all the data and learnings. What’s the best way to use that in the real world? Optimus humanoid robots. This is all part of the big puzzle.
[ SPACESUIT VISOR CANOPY ] ☀️ While Ano White shields the new Roadster’s body from the blistering sun, its ultimate thermal challenge looms directly overhead: a roof sculpted almost entirely of glass 🔥
Tesla’s high-tech answer, Gold Glazed tinted glass, borrows its playbook straight from an orbital spacewalk 🧑🚀
Take one look at that top-down profile and you immediately see why it matters. Nearly the entire roof is a single, sweeping coppery-gold canopy that wraps tight over the cabin like the cockpit of a modern fighter jet.
It’s an absolute visual masterpiece—and an absolute heat trap. Anyone who has ever climbed into a car left out under midsummer asphalt knows just how fast a glass roof transforms a cabin into an oven.
🚀 A FIX BORN IN SPACE
Astronauts have waged this exact battle for decades. Outside the protective buffer of Earth's atmosphere, raw solar radiation hits hard and fast, turning a helmet visor into an instant solar burner.
NASA’s solution, dating back to Apollo, was brilliantly straightforward: vapor-deposit a microscopically thin layer of pure gold onto the outer sun visor.
SpaceX brought that heritage into the modern era. For the historic 2024 Polaris Dawn mission—the first commercial spacewalk in history—SpaceX engineered an all-new EVA suit featuring a visor coated in vaporized copper and indium tin oxide. It neutralized blinding solar glare and punishing infrared heat in one clean stroke.
Now revisit Tesla’s official design language: glass engineered to "mimic the copper coating of spacesuit visors." That isn't just evocative marketing; it’s an unmistakable, direct nod to the Polaris Dawn helmet.
Here’s where the physics gets fascinating. These metallic coatings are hundreds of times thinner than a single strand of human hair—so impossibly sheer that you can see straight through them.
At the nanoscale, metals like copper and gold pull off a brilliant optical trick: they let the visible spectrum pass freely while reflecting the near-infrared spectrum, the invisible wavelength carrying the lion's share of thermal energy.
Think of it as the ultimate velvet-rope bouncer. Visible light gets waved right through the front door so you can take in the view, while radiant heat gets turned away before it ever breaches the cabin.
🔬 PAINTING GLASS WITH ATOMS
Tesla hasn't released its exact proprietary recipe, but the gold standard for this caliber of optical coating is a high-vacuum process called magnetron sputtering—and the engineering behind it is wild.
The glass glides through an ultra-clean vacuum chamber where a solid slab of target metal gets blasted by charged gas plasma like an atomic-scale sandblaster. The displaced atoms drift downward, settling across the glass pane in a whisper-thin, uniform snowfall.
Engineers stack these microscopic strata with extreme precision, sandwiching the reflective metallic layer between transparent dielectric oxides. These are chemical cousins of rust, engineered to be as optically clear as glass itself.
The indium tin oxide deployed on SpaceX’s visor is one of these compounds—and it happens to be the exact same conductive film that registers touches on your smartphone screen.
That rich molten-gold hue isn't just pigment; it's pure wave physics. Copper and gold naturally reflect warm-spectrum tones far more strongly than cool ones, but the rest comes down to thin-film optical interference—the same iridescent effect seen across the surface of a soap bubble.
Light waves ricochet off both the top and bottom surfaces of each micro-layer. As those reflected waves collide, specific wavelengths reinforce one another while others cancel out entirely, like ripples on water that either merge into taller crests or flatten each other into nothingness.
By micro-tuning layer thicknesses down to single-digit nanometers, engineers can dial in the exact signature shade they want.
In an automotive application, that delicate coating is hermetically sealed inside laminated safety glass, tucked securely between two structural panes just like a standard windshield. Car washes, stray keys, and road grime can’t touch it.
Applying that uniform film across a dramatic, three-dimensional curved canopy is an enormous manufacturing feat on its own. And there’s a second hurdle: any metallic layer dense enough to turn away infrared light will happily block radio frequencies, too—the exact signals required by your cellular modem and GPS.
In a vehicle where your smartphone serves as the physical key and remote telemetry is vital, balancing thermal rejection against electromagnetic transparency is a masterclass in compromise.
😎 WHY IS IT SPECIAL?
Standard tinted automotive glass works like a dark pair of sunglasses: it absorbs solar radiation, cooks under the sun like a cast-iron skillet, and steadily radiates that stored thermal load straight down into your lap.
A true reflective coating rejects thermal energy on contact, bouncing it back out toward the sky before it ever sinks into the glass matrix. Across a panoramic glass roof this expansive, that is the hard dividing line between a high-performance cockpit and a sweltering greenhouse.
Visually, the payoff is immediate. From the curb, that mirrored copper sheen shields the cabin in near-total privacy, mirroring an astronaut looking back toward Earth behind a metallic gold visor.
Yet, once seated behind the steering wheel, your perspective isn't dyed in sepia. Because the wavelengths a thin-film coating reflects are fundamentally different from the ones it transmits, your forward view remains neutral, bright, and natural.
Anchor that canopy against the crisp Ano White body and raw titanium accents—the benchmark metal for spacecraft frames and jet turbines—and the entire machine looks less like a production EV and more like a piece of flight hardware staged on a dry lakebed.
Most cars treat the roof as a lid. The Roadster treats it as a visor, proving Tesla engineered this cabin for pilots, not passengers.
/I KNOW WHY/ ⚪️ For the past few years, Tesla has been trying to ditch paint altogether. So when Tesla makes paint a headline feature on the new Roadster, it definitely catches plenty of attention 👀
It’s called Ano White, and it’s inspired by the coatings used to protect rockets 🛡️
Let’s dig into what makes it so special and how a paint like this actually comes together.
🎨 ROCKET PAINT PLAYS A WHOLE DIFFERENT GAME
Regular car paint has it pretty easy. It just needs to look good and hold up against the sun, rain, and the occasional bird.
Rocket coatings have a much tougher job. They sit on coastal launch pads, blast all the way into space, and in SpaceX’s case, come screaming back down to land at sea. Ano White borrows four types of protection from that world, and each one takes on a different threat:
☀️ UV protection: In space, there’s no atmosphere to filter out sunlight, so UV rays hit at full blast and break down the paint's binder—the chemical "glue" holding the pigment together. While old car paint slowly fades, yellows, and turns chalky, blocking those rays keeps Ano White bright and crisp for years.
❄️ Cryogenic protection: Rocket tanks hold liquid oxygen below -180°C (around -300°F). Metal shrinks in that kind of cold, causing stiff coatings to crack and peel right off—like a sticker on a balloon that suddenly deflates underneath it. That matters on the Roadster, too, since its thrusters release compressed air that gets freezing cold the instant it expands.
⚡ Electrostatic dissipation: Static builds up whenever air and dust rub against a moving surface, just like getting zapped after shuffling across a carpet. A stray spark is the last thing anyone wants around rocket propellant, and it makes just as much sense to keep static in check on a car slicing through the air at over 230 mph with high-pressure air tanks on board.
🌊 Corrosion resistance: Launch pads sit right on the coast, and SpaceX boosters land on drone ships out in the ocean where they get hammered by sea spray. On the road, that translates to serious protection against winter road salt and humid coastal air.
📜 HOW ONE PAINT PULLS OFF ALL FOUR JOBS
So how do you get a single paint job to fight off sunlight, deep freezes, static, and salt all at once? The secret is that it isn’t just one layer. It’s a multi-layer stack where each coat has a specific job.
It all starts with surface prep. The bare body panels get deep-cleaned and chemically treated so the coating bonds at a microscopic level. That rock-solid grip is what keeps the paint from peeling when the metal contracts in extreme cold.
Next up is the primer, the first line of defense against rust and corrosion. It’s loaded with chemical inhibitors that stop corrosion from spreading even if the surface gets chipped. The top layers then seal out moisture and salt completely.
Then comes the topcoat, which is where the real chemistry happens. It’s built on a tough, UV-stable resin that holds up under harsh sunlight, and it’s packed with white pigments like titanium dioxide to absorb and scatter UV rays before they can damage the binder. At the same time, the resin is formulated to stay flexible in extreme cold instead of turning brittle.
Now here’s the tricky part: dealing with static. To bleed it off safely, the paint has to conduct a tiny bit of electricity so the charge drains away gently instead of building up into a spark. The go-to conductive additive is usually carbon black, but adding that to white paint would turn it gray! Instead, white anti-static coatings rely on specialized conductive pigments that stay light in color. Making a paint that’s both bright white and electrically conductive is seriously tough to pull off.
Finally, the coating gets cured, either baked or chemically hardened, locking all those ingredients together into one tough, cross-linked skin.
🔥 WHY IS IT SO SPECIAL?
The impressive part isn’t any one of these protections on its own. It’s that some of them actually work against each other.
A coating tough enough to survive salt and harsh sunlight usually turns brittle, yet Ano White has to stay flexible in brutal cold. A coating that conducts electricity usually turns dark, yet Ano White has to stay bright white. Getting all four protections to live together in one smooth, glossy finish is a serious balancing act—and that’s what makes this paint so much more than just a pretty color.
And remember how Tesla has been trying to ditch paint altogether? When a company that obsessed with cutting manufacturing steps goes out of its way to engineer a coating like this, it tells you the Roadster plays by a completely different set of rules.
This is SpaceX know-how crossing straight over into a Tesla, just like the cold-gas thrusters and high-pressure air tanks. The Roadster isn’t just a car with rocket parts bolted on. It’s a car where even the paint was engineered with a rocket mindset.
Most car paint is just made to look good in a parking lot. Ano White is built for a car that can actually leave the ground—and that’s the most Roadster thing about it 🔥

I much prefer the 2028 > 2017.
Reasons:
1. I like sharper angles
2. I like the car a longer. 2028 is longer
3. 2028 looks futuristic but still retain some DNA from the classics
4. Front end looks way better.
5. All aeros are functional, not just for looks.
6. Again, sharp like a bullet
7. Not sure why.. but I think 2017 looks a bit boring. Perhaps we have seen it for 9 years, it looks dated.

Why did Elon build a flying car?
Because it's awesome.
Because it's inspiring.
Because someone has to show the world what's still possible.
Elon & the engineers and designers behind it, didn't settle for a slightly better car. They built something completely new and pushed right up to the limits of physics. That's what real builders do. They take an idea people laughed at for a hundred years and turn it into something you can watch with your own eyes.
And still, some people whine about it.
Most of the haters have never built anything meaningful, so they resent the people who build what they can't. Hating innovation doesn't make you smart. It makes you a sour loser, and it doesn't slow down anyone who's actually building.
As for me, I'm proud to be an American, watching the most amazing technology in history being built and delivered right in front of us, in real time. This is the future showing up early.

One of the founders of the Mayo Foundation ran a sanatorium for sixteen years in which he treated heart failure, kidney disease, high blood pressure, tuberculosis and obesity with one medicine: raw milk, several quarts a day, and nothing else.
J. E. Crewe was not a crank. He was a physician at the most famous clinic in America, and the milk cure was an old treatment he had decided to take seriously. The patient went to bed. Every half hour through the day a glass of raw milk from grass-fed cows went down, up to four or five quarts, sometimes more. No other food. Weeks of it.
He wrote it up in 1929 and the detail that stands out is the one that puzzled him most. He expected the swollen, waterlogged patients with failing hearts and kidneys to get worse on all that fluid. They did the opposite. The swelling went, the blood pressure fell, the urine cleared. One woman went from three hundred and twenty-five pounds to two hundred and eighty-four in a fortnight on four quarts a day, and her blood pressure came down fifty points with it. Diabetics improved. The tubercular gained weight. Nervous patients slept.
Crewe said the treatment was so simple it was not interesting to the profession, and so effective it made him uncomfortable in his own clinic, because it suggested most of his colleagues' work was unnecessary.
Pasteurisation came in, raw milk became a controlled substance, and the Mayo Clinic's own doctors stopped mentioning it. The article survives. The practice does not.
The most prestigious hospital in America once put its sickest patients to bed with a glass of milk every half hour and watched them get well. It is now illegal to sell that milk in most of the states it was practised in.

Knowing … KNOWING what was going to happen as the left ushered in millions of third-worlders filled me with dread. I knew the rapes and murders were to come. And they did. I despise anyone shilling for them. Despise. Answering one of the anchor baby congresswomen yesterday:

You bitch. I am so beyond sick of the left’s CONSTANT shilling for illegals! This was me just a few short years before my parents moved us to West Texas where illegals were plenty. I fervently wish you could feel how I feel and remember what I remember as he molested me. It was terrifying and revolting. He had to pantomime what he made me do to him since he, of course, couldn’t speak English. Do you know how those memories come flooding back every time I’m out in public and foreigners jabber in their foreign language like he did as he was sexually abusing me? I wish you could experience that to feel the rage we feel for the left importing millions of unknown, unvetted to rape and murder our citizens. I cannot tell you how much you and your irresponsible, corrupt ilk make me sick. We despise you.

Communist democrats ran the largest human trafficking operation in world history and used our taxpayer dollars to do so, all because they want to secure permanent electoral power for themselves. Their opinions on absolutely everything mean nothing in a good and moral society. They're evil.

This is revolting pro-cartel pro-trafficking propaganda from the New York Times. The Biden Administration trafficked almost half a million minors into the country and handed them over to unvetted adults, often unvetted adult illegal alien men. Some so-called “sponsors” were delivered numerous, even dozens, of children by the Democrat administration. The majority of the sponsors had themselves paid the cartels to obtain the children, a fact known by the Biden government. Biden spent billions ferrying these children throughout the United States and hiring lawyers to protect cartel profits by filing frivolous motions to keep the floodgates open—funneling the money through corrupt NGOs. The children then disappeared. The Trump Administration rescued these children and is working with consulates and embassies across the globe to reunite them with their families back home. On the Southwest Border, the child trafficking industry has been shut down and, when cartels do try to traffic children, we rescue them and help them find their families in their own countries. The New York Times and its propagandists object to all this and think we should go back to the Biden Policy of mass trafficking children for cartels and terrorists.
