If French protests are so effective why are they still stuck with neoliberalism? Why is their country still loyal to Israel and NATO? Why is the French ruling class completely unresponsive to French protester demands?
You guys realize that this is like the 100th time in the last 10 years that France has erupted in protests over neoliberalism right? Americans tend to romanticize these protests but what have they accomplished? French protesters engage in revolutionary adventurism but don’t have a follow up on how to change the system in a meaningful way. So we repeat the same cycle over and over
This is not a diss on the French protesters at all because they are just reacting to their material conditions, which is normal. But at what point do we begin having the conversation that western liberal democracy as a whole completely failed and no amount of “protests” will fix it. Protests without further revolutionary action of building real dual power seems to amount to nothing in the west

i still cant believe the zionatsis released yahya sinwar's martyrdom video and the report of his port mortem, showing he died fighting them to his last breath, severely injured and starving for 3 days, believing they will demean him when the whole world saw his honour and courage

The amount of propaganda bullshit US corporations fund to demonize North Korea, like in the latest Call of Duty, should make you pause.
As if the US didn’t slaughter millions of civilians in Korea during the 50’s.
I hope people decompile their piece of shit Call of Epstein and modify it so you show the truth about the heroic DPRK resisting Epstein imperialism.

corruption in the West is so rampant they had to rebrand it as “lobbying“ so maps like this can maintain their propagandistic value
Wait, shouldn’t the US be pitch black here?

Let’s all remember the sage wisdom of Omar El-Akkad- “One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.”
Kamala Harris says her and Biden’s administration should have acted “sooner and more forcefully” regarding Israel’s attack on Gaza — and that the Trump administration “offers Netanyahu a blank check”:
“America has at times fallen short on [moral obligation to human rights and international law]. Most recently, the failure to use our leverage to curtail the Israeli government's horrific conduct in the war in Gaza, both under the current administration, which offers Netanyahu a blank check, and our administration before, where we should have acted sooner and more forcefully.”

AI is literally a scam, the most sophisticated scam ever. They created a machine that mimics the output of intelligence. Then told everyone it was really intelligent — an impossibility, but the illusion was convincing. Based on that deception, they fleeced investors of trillions.

We gotta retire the term "leftist", it's completely outlived its usefulness. You're a revolutionary or you're a liberal. Just because you want slightly more progressive reforms doesn't mean you're not still a liberal. Simple as

1/2 China’s Communist Party Central Committee and State Council have issued their first comprehensive policy blueprint for developing “new quality productive forces” (新质生产力), a concept first introduced by the country's leadership in September 2023.
The document sets out 19 major reform and development tasks across five areas: technological innovation, integration of technological and industrial innovation, new development models, institutional reform, and talent development.
Beijing defines new quality productive forces as advanced productive capacity driven by innovation, characterised by high technology, greater efficiency and higher quality, with substantial improvements in total factor productivity (TFP) as the central objective.
Unlike traditional growth models that rely heavily on expanding investment and increasing factor inputs, the new approach emphasises technological breakthroughs, more efficient resource allocation and fundamental changes in industrial organisation.
The policy also reflects growing concern in Beijing that local governments have pursued emerging industries indiscriminately, duplicated investment in fashionable sectors and neglected the upgrading of traditional industries.
The National Development and Reform Commission has explicitly warned against speculative investment, excessive enthusiasm for emerging and future industries, and prioritising industrial development over institutional reform.
The new blueprint therefore seeks to correct these distortions by requiring local governments to develop industries according to their particular economic circumstances and comparative advantages.
Its introduction also reflects intensifying international competition in artificial intelligence, quantum technology, biotechnology and other strategically important technologies.
Domestically, Beijing sees the policy as essential to replacing weakening traditional growth drivers with new sources of economic expansion.
The overarching objective is to shift China's growth model away from extensive capital accumulation towards innovation-led productivity gains, while ensuring that industrial investment is accompanied by reforms that improve the allocation of labour, capital and technology.

Liberals cling to the notion that art is politically useful because it makes them feel fuzzy inside to imagine their consumption of entertainment as political action. They get absurdly offended at the notion that it isn't.

Liberal progressives are every bit as delusional as the MAGA cultists they constantly ridicule. Nothing demonstrates this better than the way they’ve convinced themselves that the war in Ukraine is the “good war,” while a war with Iran is the “bad war.” Their opposition to militarism seems entirely dependent on whether a particular conflict aligns with their preferred geopolitical narrative. Matt Duss is a perfect example of this ideological incoherence. The man is a nut job.

When victims of genocide are dehumanised, commodified, and exploited to accumulate institutional cred, advancement, and political legitimacy. Those doing that via abstract "opposition" will wield the term "purity testing" to shield their material source of accumulation, genocide.

The Zohran situation reminded me of this quote from Rosa Luxemburg:
"The character of a bourgeois government isn't determined by the personal character of its members, but by its organic function in bourgeois society. [...] With the entry of a socialist into the government, and class domination continuing to exist, the bourgeois government doesn't transform itself into a socialist government, but a socialist transforms himself into a bourgeois minister."

Norman Finkelstein, everyone’s favorite “good Jew,” is exactly why it’s dangerous to let any Jewish voice speak on Palestine.
For decades, people have treated him like THE voice for Palestine because he criticizes Israel. But listen to him on Zionism, BDS and the right of return. Suddenly Palestinians need to be realistic. Suddenly there are limits to what their liberation should look like. And people still defend him because they’ve spent years convinced he’s one of the good ones.
And this is the problem. People trust him so much that they get caught up in everything he gets right and stop questioning what he’s actually asking Palestinians to accept. With someone who’s openly Zionist, you know where they stand. But criticizing Israel doesn’t automatically mean you’re fighting for Palestinian liberation.
So why are we giving Norman Finkelstein such a huge platform to tell the world what Palestinian liberation should look like in the first place? Palestinians don’t need outsiders deciding what they should settle for, let alone a Jew explaining their liberation to the rest of the world. Stop putting these people on a pedestal and start listening to the Palestinians themselves. It’s their freedom, their future and their struggle. They should be the ones defining it.

It’s actually wild how Zohran Mamdani supporters showed their entire ass by smearing the Palestinian movement in New York as right wing ops and feds. They proved the thesis of RBN as 100% correct and vindicated me by doing so.
This is the CLASS CONFRONTATION that we’ve been calling for within the left for years. Their contempt for non Democrats is so obvious they can’t help themselves
I told you guys these SocDems will quickly betray the Palestinian movement and act like lawyers for the regime the second they get their favorite politician elected.

Liberals are not leftists.
Liberals are right-lite with moral superiority complexes.
They maintain the status quo while telling leftists they’re fucking stupid for demanding action over performance.
Liberals are dangerous.

Since @KyleKulinski follows me, I can explain why this isn’t astroturfed or some fringe faction of sectarian leftists.
I know the people who led those chants. They’re Arab and Muslim youth who understand the difference between personal culpability and political responsibility.
We’ve used these same chants against previous mayors. Eric Adams wasn’t personally sending bombs to Israel either, but he oversaw the NYPD, which maintains ties to the Israeli military and an office in Tel Aviv. Unless Mamdani has severed those ties, the underlying criticism remains valid.
I might not have used that particular chant myself, only because I know how quickly bad-faith actors, liberals included, will seize on the wording to distract from the substance. But I’m not going to condemn people for using it, or pretend their criticism is any less legitimate.
There’s always a problem with Palestinian chants. “Globalize the Intifada,” “From the river to the sea,” “Long live the resistance.” No matter what we say, the conversation gets redirected from what we’re protesting to how we’re protesting it.
Stop joining the chorus policing Palestinian speech and start engaging with the actual policies and demands.
Kyle Kulinski on Zohran Mamdani getting protested at an October 7th vigil: “They said: Mayor Mamdani, you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide. This is a psyop. This is fucking astroturfed. This is either right-wing infiltrators trying to divide and conquer the left or this is like literal CIA. There is no way this is organic because nobody is that dense, nobody is that stupid to take one of the single most pro-Palestine elected officials in this fucking country and act like he’s guilty, he’s pro-genocide. You must be out of your fucking mind if you believe that”
