For everyone who knows how much a mother gives, and how little she asks for in return.. My mom endured more than anyone in our family throughout 3 years of war, displacement, and destruction. She lived in constant fear of losing our home, being displaced, and losing us. She never truly felt safe or had a moment of peace. Even today, I can still feel her sadness. I watched smth inside her slowly fade throughout the war. Her birthday is on Nov 13, and I want to give her smth special — a day filled with love, joy, and memories she will never forget. A small way to give back to the woman who has given us so much. But in Gaza, even the simplest moments of happiness have become expensive.
