I fail to see how a lack of preparation on your behalf constitutes an emergency on mine.

Fire at the IM Marsh site
There is a significant fire at buildings on the IM Marsh site. Fire crews and emergency services are working to tackle it and ensure public safety.
I have spoken with emergency services. Barkhill Road, North Sudley Road and Mossley Hill Road are closed while they deal with the fire. Residents in the surrounding streets are being asked to stay indoors and keep their windows closed. I know this will be worrying for people nearby. Please follow that advice and give the emergency services the space they need.
My thoughts and prayers are with the firefighters and emergency personnel working to tackle the blaze and keep people safe. I hope everyone at the site is safe and that no one has been injured.
The priority now is the safety of residents and supporting the emergency response. At a meeting last month with the university, the police and the residents’ association, we raised concerns about the risk of an incident of this nature at the site and discussed working with the university to improve security.
Once the immediate situation is under control, I will follow up with the university, those responsible for maintaining the site and local residents to establish what happened and what needs to be done.
I will share further confirmed information as it becomes available. For now, please follow the advice of the emergency services.

The UK plans to ‘Crack down’ on X because it’s not ‘Free Speech’ and because it fuels ‘Hatred’…
Reality: X is the only platform where Citizens can learn of the Treason that their Governments are committing against them…

A farmer dies in April 2026.
His son inherits the farm. The farm has been in the family since 1847.
The farm consists of: 300 acres of grazing pasture, a farmhouse built in 1892, a barn, a milking parlour, two tractors of varying ages, a Land Rover that runs about 70% of the time, and a herd of 180 Hereford-cross cattle.
On paper, the farm is worth approximately £3.2 million. This is because land near him has been bought recently by a London hedge fund looking for carbon credits, which has dragged the comparable value of every field within forty miles upward to a number nobody local can justify.
In cash, the farm produces a profit of about £28,000 a year in a good year. In a bad year it loses money. The son also works as a fencing contractor three days a week to keep the operation viable.
The inheritance tax bill on a £3.2 million estate, even at the reduced 20% rate, comes to approximately £140,000 after the increased threshold is applied. The son does not have £140,000. The son has never had £140,000. The son has £4,200 in his current account and an overdraft.
The son sells 60 acres to a developer to pay the tax. The developer puts solar panels on the 60 acres. The remaining herd cannot be sustained on the reduced land. The herd is sold. The barn becomes a holiday let.
A different family eats Brazilian beef this Christmas without knowing why the price went up.
The Treasury collects £140,000.
The land never produces British food again.

I’m genuinely struggling to understand this.
Ye is banned from the UK for saying offensive things.
Meanwhile, a former ISIS terrorist, Ahmed al-Sharaa was shaking hands with Keir Starmer and King Charles III last week.
One said mean things.
The other chopped heads off.
This does not make sense.

Iran has been ‘on the precipice of acquiring nuclear weapons’ for over 30 years now
Either Iran’s nuclear scientists have to be comically incompetent and mess up at the last stage every year for over 30 years…
Or Israel, the US, and the media are liars who take you for fools.
It’s exactly the opposite:
In 1953 the CIA launched a coup to depose the democratically-elected President of Iran because he wanted to nationalise Iran’s oil industry
The CIA provided Saddam Hussein with the intelligence to use chemical weapons against Iran
The US has attempted to strangle Iran’s economy with sanctions and sabotage, directly impoverishing the Iranian people
The US armed and backed Israel’s twelve day war on Iran in 2025

“I’m Not Able To Buy Food... Delivery To My Home Is Prohibited... I Have People Bringing Me Food”: EU Sanctions Trap Former Colonel Jacques Baud
Former Swiss Colonel Jacques Baud delivers a stark account of the immediate, personal consequences of EU sanctions, revealing their profound humanitarian and legal impact.
Baud describes being cut off from basic necessities: “I’m not able to buy food for instance… nobody is allowed to provide me with any kind of resources.” A concrete example underscores this: a friend’s attempt to order him food from Switzerland was blocked, proving “any delivery to my home is even prohibited.” He now relies on direct handouts to eat.
The sanctions create an inescapable trap. Baud explains, “I’m not allowed to travel in the EU, meaning that I’m not even allowed to go back to my country… if I were in my country, I could not come back to the place where I live.”
He criticizes the authorities for a process that bypasses due process. While Switzerland “failed to understand the consequence,” the EU’s bureaucratic machinery leaves him powerless: to get a “humanitarian” exemption merely “to buy food,” he must petition an administration that is currently “idle,” leaving him with “no resource whatsoever.”
Baud’s ordeal exposes a fundamental flaw in the EU’s system: the ability to wield political sanctions as a blunt instrument against individuals within its own borders, erasing legal protections and imposing a form of extrajudicial house arrest without trial, charge, or democratic accountability.

Rachel Reeves broke her promise on income tax: there’s no ambiguity. She lied to Britain, as millionaires leave & migrants arrive. Even now, she blames everyone but herself. If Britain were a private business, she’d be fired - with Britain all at sea & sinking fast

🚨 A WARNING TO THE NATION
David Lammy isn’t “fixing a backlog” — he’s dismantling 800 years of hard-won British liberty.
When a politician tells you there is “no right” to a jury trial, it’s not reform.
It’s preparation.
Preparation for a future where the state decides guilt, not the people.
Where dissenters are processed, not heard.
Where justice becomes an administrative inconvenience, not a constitutional safeguard.
Jury trials are the last defence ordinary citizens have against political abuse.
If they’re willing to tear that down, imagine what they’re planning next.
This is the red flag.
This is the line in the sand.
Britain must not sleepwalk into tyranny.

The loss of Christian faith has caused Britain to forget the sanctity of life.
Principles are downstream from culture and culture is downstream from religion.
With no theological anchor, a ‘liberal secular’ society has delivered the worst of what it is to be human.
