An important update We need to share an unfortunate update with everyone. As of today, we are indefinitely pausing work on nearly all projects for Universal Roblox. This has been a really difficult decision to make and frankly we don't even know if it's the right one. We are grateful to everyone who has supported the project throughout its 10 year lifespan, and we couldn't have done any of it without you. > Universe of Wonders? Still coming We are still working on Universe of Wonders and will finish it as planned. > Halloween Scare Nights We don't want to gamble with Roblox's new "publishing reach" and we don't plan to reopen a previous year Halloween Scare Nights unless the "publishing reach" rules are changed before then. > Why are we stopping development? Ultimately, a lot of challenges have been coming up that are making this project hard to get around to: - Roblox requiring age verification, ID verification, etc. - Roblox rapidly changing developer requirements, systems, etc. - Less available free-time in our lives. - We can't make a new ride until a "new ride framework" is complete - This hasn't been started yet and would take a long time to get right. - Universal Roblox doesn't make as much as other games so we can't hire high-quality programming talent to speed-up development. > Is there a chance the project resumes development? We're going to wait and see what happens on Roblox in the coming months and years. There is a slight chance we'll revisit the project, but don't expect it any time soon. > Will you continue to maintain and fix issues? Yes, we still plan to maintain and keep the game active. We will probably still work on features to improve the overall experience, just don't expect new attractions unless development is resumed. > What will happen with VIP? - VIP will continued to be offered as a product in-game at this time. - We will continue to release free monthly emblems through at least December of this year.
