Can’t emphasize enough to American (potential) fans not only how great a game rugby is but how great a culture thrives around it…in the stands, on the field etc. if I could choose a game for my children to play based on culture & values it would be rugby for sure.
USA hosting the World Cup in five years will be amazing. Just want to encourage folks to start watching the game now to grow your interest & understanding. You’ll be glad you did.
“World Rugby is not FIFA. They (World Rugby) have always been friendly, gregarious, willing to work and listen. Partnership is the key thing they talk about.”

It’s so condescending to non-rugby sports fans to say we need to dumb down the sport to appeal to them. The second biggest sport in the world is the famously uncomplicated cricket; NFL has more intricacies than a detective novel, in a puzzle box, at the centre of a labyrinth.

So special to share this moment with my family. Love you and thanks for all the sacrifices you made
Watched those quarter finals again.
Tried to play the game, “how would I manage in that game?”
Terrible idea.
Couldn’t lace the boots of any of those gladiators.
I don’t play the same sport 😂
Bring on the semi finals of @rugbyworldcup
Are referees as allowed to be contracted as “sole traders” or are they aligned to the union of their nationality?
Cause wow, the rates some leagues would pay to have the quality of Wayne Barnes and Ben o Keefe etc would be great for their leagues as well as the profile of refs
