📊 CHART ENTRY — APRIL 9, 1977 T. Rex — Dandy in the Underworld Marc Bolan’s final studio album made its chart debut on April 9 1977, entering the Official UK Albums Chart at No. 26 — a late‑period resurgence that critics immediately recognised as a creative turning point. Arriving in the middle of the punk explosion, Dandy in the Underworld cut through the noise with sharpened songwriting, emotional candour, and a renewed sense of purpose. 📊Its three‑week chart run — 26 → 60 → 48 — reflected a loyal fanbase rallying behind Bolan’s strongest work in years. While brief, the trajectory captured a moment of genuine artistic revival, one that hinted at a new chapter tragically cut short just six months later. A poignant final ascent for a glam‑rock originator rediscovering his spark. #TRex #MarcBolan #DandyInTheUnderworld #1977 #GlamRock #ChartEntry #OfficialCharts #ReleaseChronicle #VinylArchive #MusicHistory
