Why are people so obsessed with guns? I have guns at home to defend where I live because other crazy civilians have guns, but NO ONE except law enforcement needs to carry a gun. I say keep the ban and more states should join in. This is in no way a violation of the constitution.
Today I issued a 30-day ban on the open & concealed carrying of guns in Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. Gun violence is killing between 2 and 3 children every month in NM - every single one of these deaths is unconscionable and they must stop. tinyurl.com/whxjbym9

There are laws and limits for a reason. Just like we don’t need to drive our lawn mowers inside Kroger, we don’t need our guns to buy groceries. Keep them at home.

I’ve just stopped by here to say that hands down the best thing in Nashville entertainment is @WNXPnashville. @CeliaSGregory starts the day off right with her morning mix, and @MarquisWNXP provides a perfect night cap to finish the day. Really, the whole team is great!

I ask my fellow Americans to begin referring to Gen-Z as the “find out” generation.

Today I mourn the loss of democracy and the loss of the people’s voice in the State of TN. I have lived in TN my whole life and have never felt so hopeless for our state. @CSexton25 @BillLeeTN

So tell me, if big companies like @Disney are laying people off in preparation for a recession, how do they expect people to afford their products when they don’t have jobs? #SelfFulfillingProphecy

I have posted this before but .. 26 years ago, a gunman entered Dunblane Primary School in Scotland, killing 16 kids and a teacher. The UK govt responded by enacting tight gun control legislation. In the 9400+ days since, there have been a total of O school shootings in the UK.

“Anti-woke” is a funny term. So, you’re admitting you’re ignorant and are actively choosing to stay that way. At least you’re honest? 🤷‍♂️

Rents rose 17.6% last year and another 6.7% so far this year. So no, a 3% "raise" isn't going to cut it. That's called a pay cut.

I’ve never liked Twitter and usually only use it to vent or complain, but really…
Was there nothing better to do with 44 billion dollars?
I saw that Fox News was reporting on people boycotting Disney for being “too woke”. What does that mean for the hosts on Fox and those boycotting Disney to say Disney is “woke”? Are they against being woke? What’s the opposite of woke? Asleep?
There are 41-year-old Millennials, and yet Millennials have 6% of all wealth. At the same age, Boomers had 21% of all wealth. Right now people 77 and older have over twice the wealth that Millennials have even though they are the largest generation in history.

Why I don’t buy from Amazon (unless it’s for my Kindle, but I rarely do that as I can get free books on my Kindle from Libby).
Thread on how Amazon treats its workers Context: Amazon full-time warehouse employees make $31,200 a year. Jeff Bezos makes that every 12 seconds. Cost to give warehouse workers 2 weeks paid sick leave + pay bumps so they don't qualify for food stamps = 0.9% of Bezos' fortune

Rock declines to press charges against Smith. He may have made a bad joke but at least he turned the other cheek.
