Many X users are upset about the recent email pausing their revenue share.
After reviewing at least 20 accounts, I believe X made the right call in many cases.
I haven’t received a pause notification myself(yet), but this situation highlights a misunderstanding of what it means to be a “creator” and what qualifies as “content”
Content - isn’t just posting GM/GN,one-liners, or generic phrases. It’s something valuable like threads, articles, long-form posts, edited videos, or photos that educate, inspire, or entertain.
Creators - invest time (at least an hour, often more) crafting meaningful work that adds value to their audience.
I’m not a perfect creator, but I try to share substance, not just filler.
If your revenue share was paused, it might be a chance to reflect.
