Remote desktop software hasn't been a good experience. Today, we take the first step to changing that. We released a Beta this morning. Sign up for access here - phaze.app/beta.
We're just getting started, and we're excited for everyone to join us on our journey to building a better user experience for remote desktop. The needs for remote access are proliferating - companies are racking workstations, agents need access to remote machines, and hardware costs are making shared resources a better option for every company.
My conspiracy theory is that while it’s been a rough few weeks for opsec, the people having the worst week are the spies. I bet the NSA was using some of these vulnerabilities
Entrepreneurs need to also internalize the impact of all of this on their potential outcomes. Raising a massive seed round at a high valuation reduces your probability for a successful exit. Maybe your business needs it because it’s a hardware company or has massive capex requirements, but just remember, it limits what your options are later.
If you believe that AI will displace employment, you should also assume this games winter will end. In a 2017 study, it was found that as leisure time increased for men due to fewer work hours, gaming saw the a more significant increase in consumption than other leisure activities. Some of that may change with online gambling and short form video, but it’s a good signal for how leisure time may displace work

The two companies that have the world's best coding agents still cannot figure out how to make an admin dashboard that is usable.
It seems like a cliche at this point to share Im reading lonesome dove. I’m only 1/3rd through it but I feel like it appeals to so many people because it’s so easy to see each group of friends in the hat creek outfit. In every group of friends I’ve had, I can point to a call, Gus, Jake, pea, deets, dish etc… the characters are perfect
Engineers are cooking at Phaze. Nice update with lots of value, like letting AI agents send commands to a remote device, lower latency and more reliable usb passthrough, and a new packet dispersion based congestion algorithm. Plus some big admin features like scim sync, enforced connection policies, audit logs, and multiple sso provider support.
There’s a lot more to do and I’m excited about what we’ve accomplished.
I love my mom, but helping her fix her computer over the phone is peak frustration for me (and for her). Now, I just tell Claude to fix it through Phaze, and I seem like the best kid ever.
Phaze now lets your ai agent send ssh-like commands to remote machines.
We also have a new network algorithm, huge improvements to usb passthrough, and some more overrides. Https://phaze.app/changelog
I don't believe Anthropic should have so much arrogance and hubris to feel the need for this new fund. And if it becomes an important tool, it will also signal the need to nationalize anthropic. You think the government is just going to let some company be in charge of welfare?
This WiFi situation is creating a challenging brand issue for Delta. WiFi blips happen all the time on planes and now every time they do I’m just annoyed that Delta decided against Starlink. After 25 min of a WiFi outage, my frustration led me to say, I should use United. Not good.
Worst case scenario for baseball tv ratings, Brewers vs. Cleveland/Tampa, and I love it. Sometimes Davids can beat the goliaths. Let’s go brewers!
At 60 FPS, every 16.67ms a frame is born on your GPU, and at @Phaze_in, we try to make sure that frame arrives at your client computer as fast as possible. Here's a musical describing each step from the frame being born to the moment it dies. Enjoy :)
