Teachers should be worrying about lesson plans, grading papers, and getting through the school day. Not whether they and their students will make it home safely.
Our hearts are broken for the students, teachers, staff, and families of Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon.
We're devastated. We're angry. And we're exhausted by tragedies like this happening in our schools.
Every child deserves to feel safe at school. Every teacher deserves to feel safe doing their job. And every family deserves to know their loved ones are coming home.
To the entire Silver Rail Elementary community, teachers everywhere are grieving with you and sending you love.
This should never be part of being a teacher. Enough is enough.
WOW!!
Think pelicans use their giant bill pouches like lunch boxes? Think again! They scoop up fish and other aquatic prey, then swallow their catch right away. Their pouches can hold up to 3 gallons of water!
