Great news - the new copies of Birds of the Wintersett Area have arrived & are now available from the Visitor Centre at Anglers Country Park (10am - 4pm) or email:

This appears to be a species of Dolichomitus wasp that was by the spillway at Wintersett Res yesterday. Apparently these are quite scarce in Yorkshire.
