dear D's ...... when fighting against any future tax bills.....attach names of people/corps that will directly benefit from any line item....this is powerful messaging. Ask person on the street if they think Jeff Bezos should pay less is better than the "top 1%"

drive by management who drop in on 1/10 meetings and just cause chaos is SO FRUSTRATING! equally frustrating is management NOT stepping up and making actual decisions.....

Ummm, NO...this is a gimmick and not serious. My property taxes are too high BUT a $1k check once is NOT the solution.
Baltimore mayor wants city residents to pay an 8% sales tax. 2% higher than the rest of the state. Then use proceeds to give $1000 property tax relief payment to property owners

if tariffs are all about fentanyl .... why the flip flop? why the delay? also just heard POTUS say tariffs are about jobs and getting manufacturing back to the US.... maybe the Secretary of the Treasury didn't get the updated talking points?

How dumb and weak you must be to take an action that has obvious consequences then then flip flop on it the next day?

Today Citigroup, the 3rd largest bank in the United States, made the largest oopsie-doopsie banking typographical error in history. Citigroup was supposed to credit a customer with $280 Citigroup instead accidentally sent the customer $81,000,000,000,000

the Maglev should be rejected out of hand b/c it diverts attention and funds from improvements we could be making to existing intercity rail. Honestly a 2 new tracks and an express from Penn to Union would probably be cheaper and probably much different for travel time.

Maryland Republican is against the expansion of free commerce.
The craziness of the Democrat-controlled Maryland General Assembly goes on. The House of Delegates is about to pass HB380 — a bill that makes it legal to sell condoms in preschools and kindergartens. When will the craziness end? Bill Link Here: mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsi…

A missed cameo opportunity for the new Captain America would have been Garry Oldemen trying to assassinate Harrison Ford's President

So backdoors added for "law enforcement" got compromised...no one could have predicted that
I think the Salt Typhoon hacks will be seen as the worst counterintelligence breach in US history. Though not reported yet, seems likely that the MSS compromised the FISA “selectors” in US telcos. The fallout from this is unfathomable. FBI NSD damage assessment is max pain rn.

you are right, probably some vague enough rule that just isn't applied here.

he probably lied NOT because he didn't think he would get caught but that there would be no consequences if he did....which is what I expect given how Ds are enabling normal Senate business and letting nominees get confirmed....
Kash Patel assured me multiple times that he had no part of the mass firing of career FBI agents. But there’s new evidence that he and Stephen Miller orchestrated the purge. If Kash Patel lied under oath, he can’t be the next Director of the FBI.

Mounted units are lined up along City Hall. Police are erecting barriers making it impossible to walk around City Hall.
