My dear brother Donald Duke @Donald_Duke, Some years ago, you and I travelled along the stretch of the coastline where this road now runs, and I clearly remember your praise for the vision behind it. That is why your recent comments surprised me. Yes, the Coastal Highway is expensive. We agree on that. But nothing of lasting value in this world is cheap or free. Great nations are built by leaders willing to make bold, costly investments that will serve generations yet unborn. Mr. President committed to funding this project, and he is keeping that commitment. There is no funding shortfall. The work is progressing, and the quality of construction is second to none. When Governor Douye Diri commended the road, he was not speaking as a local champion; he was speaking as a statesman who recognises infrastructure of international standard when he sees it. I agree with him completely. Donald, I understand that you are running for president, and that your statement is political. That is the nature of the season, and I respect your right to make your case to Nigerians. But we must be careful never to undermine a project of national importance, or the President delivering it, simply for political advantage. When mankind went to the moon, it was neither cheap nor free. But it was necessary. So is this road.

People who have been pumping up Atiku who's promising to sell cheaper crude to refineries, a plan that'll cost the country billions of dollars yearly are suddenly crying over a temporary price cap occasioned by the effects of an oil war in Iran. You want your favorite to do everything to win, you've been singing all is fair in war but Tinubu who holds all the aces should fold his hands, you never see anything.

There is no law stopping two people with the SS genotype from getting married, and there shouldn't be. The same goes for two AS carriers. Who you marry is a human right, and the law has no business deciding that. But the absence of a law cannot mean the absence of a conversation. We have to do far more to discourage these unions. When both parents are SS, every child they have will be SS. AS + AS is the quieter danger, and the bigger one. Each child of such a couple has a one in four chance of being SS. Many couples hear that number and tell themselves the odds are on their side. Some get lucky. Many don't, and some have more than one SS child. Because AS carriers far outnumber SS individuals, these pairings produce most of the sickle cell children born today. Many of those couples never checked their genotype until a child fell ill. Either way, it is the children who pay, with pain crises, endless hospital visits and lives built around a condition they never chose. Until science makes sickle cell far less of a burden, this is a responsibility we cannot shy away from. Know your genotype before you fall in love, not after. Too many children are suffering in ways that could have been avoided.

These are the most significant policy changes introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu since taking office in May 2023. 1. Removal of Fuel Subsidy: Reduced government spending and freed funds for development. 2. Foreign Exchange (FX) Market Unification: Merged multiple exchange-rate windows into a more market-driven system. Has improved transparency, attracted investment, and reduced arbitrage. 3. Comprehensive Tax Reforms: Reforms aimed at simplifying tax administration, broadening the tax base, and reducing burdens on smaller businesses. 4. Student Loan Scheme (NELFUND): Improved access to higher education for indigent students. 5. Minimum Wage Increase: Increased national minimum wage to reflect current economic realities. 6. Power Sector and Energy Reforms: Efforts to improve electricity generation, transmission, and investment in the power sector to enhance energy supply. FGN is deploying more than seven million smart meters; the largest metering programme in Nigeria’s history ($400M worth of investment). Also, $5.5 billion upstream oil and gas investments, and $700 million investment prospect across clean cooking and clean mobility value chain. 7. Cabinet and Government Restructuring: Merger and reorganisation of ministries and government agencies to improve efficiency and reduce duplication. 8. Infrastructure Drive: Major investments in roads and transport corridors, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and other federal highway projects. 9. Oil and Gas Sector Reforms: Boosting crude oil production, improving refining capacity, combating oil theft, and attracting investment into the sector. 10. Revenue and Fiscal Reforms: Increased focus on non-oil revenue generation, public finance management, and improving government fiscal sustainability. These structural reforms have reshaped Nigeria's economic framework. Although challenging in the short term, the long-term fiscal benefits cannot be overstated. This is why millions of Nigerians have vowed that they will re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) in January 2027.

1/ On August 27, I met with the Governors of our 36 States, and we agreed on a clear objective that from October 1, more Nigerians should begin to see measurable reductions in transportation costs. An implementation committee for the National Affordable CNG Transit Programme was subsequently established under the auspices of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum @NGFSecretariat, chaired by the Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq @RealAARahman. I am aware of the considerable work already underway by the committee, PI-CNG & EV, the States, and other critical stakeholders to identify priority transport corridors, determine appropriate interventions, and put the necessary arrangements in place. This work has become even more urgent in the face of the current global energy crisis.

“Governor Soludo has not borrowed a single penny.” - Izuchukwu Okafor, Anambra Commissioner for Finance “I haven’t borrowed a single penny.” - Senator Uba Sani (@ubasanius), Governor of Kaduna State. For years, Anambra, Kaduna, and many other states depended heavily on borrowing. Infact, 27 states reportedly borrowed just to pay salaries. That was the old Nigeria. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT)’s reforms changed the equation. Through fuel subsidy removal, exchange‑rate unification, and a disciplined fiscal reset, state revenues have grown and State Governors now have the financial strength to run their states without resorting to debt for basic obligations, which includes salary obligations. This is a direct outcome of reforms that prioritise transparency, efficiency, and long‑term stability. This is the new reality under President Tinubu. A Nigeria where states stand on their own feet, manage their finances responsibly, and plan for the future with confidence. In the interest of Nigeria, please HOLD YOUR GOVERNORS ACCOUNTABLE!

Mr Michael H. Bonner is the distinguished Senior FBI Executive who served as Legal Attaché to the Embassy of the United States in Nigeria and who wrote a letter to the Nigerian Government via the Nigeria Police Force in 2003 stating that then-Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no FBI criminal records or previous arrests, outstanding warrants or any other type of involvement in any act of criminality in the United States, or anywhere within the purview of the United States' law enforcement bodies, which have bilateral and multilateral relations with several other jurisdictions. Rather than let yourself be manipulated, if you are a media organisation, an investigative journalist, or just a concerned Nigerian, you can contact Mr Bonner directly. He is now retired, but he is on LinkedIn, where he has shown significant interest in matters concerning Nigeria. If you, as a media organisation, investigative journalist, or concerned citizen, still doubt the authenticity of the letter from the FBI via the Embassy of the United States of America in Nigeria, @USinNigeria, which proves that the Federal Bureau of Investigation cleared Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of any wrongdoing, or of having any criminal record, previous arrests, or outstanding warrants of any kind, please contact the US Embassy in Abuja directly at ConsularAbuja@state.gov. You may also call the US Embassy at (+234) 209-461-4000, or present the letter to the State Department in Washington, DC, for authentication. Alternatively, you may contact the @FBI directly on (202) 324-3000 or pay a visit to their headquarters, whose full address appears below: FBI Headquarters 935 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, D.C. 20535-0001 That is better than allowing the opposition to rage-bait you with unfounded innuendo that they know is fallacious. Dear Larry, Thank you for your feedback. Peter Obi criticised the PDP, then joined it. That did not seem to affect your respect for him. Then he left and again criticised the PDP as "structures" of criminality, but eventually joined the ADC, which was created by PDP members, yet you continue to respect him. Now, he is in the NDC formed by a former PDP Governor and Senator, with members who are mostly former PDP members, and you, Larry, maintain your admiration for him. It looks to me like you may struggle with factual analysis, and as a result, you let your emotions dictate your behaviour rather than logic. In my case, I criticised candidate Bola Tinubu, but to make sure I was right, I bought tickets for myself and a camera crew for Chicago. While there, I visited Chicago State University and the local courts, and though my mission was to disgrace the then-candidate Bola Tinubu, I verified that he was admitted, attended, and graduated from Chicago State University, and that he had no previous criminal record. When I made that factual discovery, even though it was against my political interests at the time, I released a statement. I followed it up with an interview on Arise TV, clearing the then candidate Tinubu, which led to Rufai Oseni issuing a death threat against me, which unfortunately was recorded. Larry, I am not an emotional creature. I deal in facts. If I see facts that contradict my previously held beliefs, then I change those beliefs. I adjust myself to facts. I don't adjust facts to suit my prejudices. Even Yeshua's (Jesus') brothers did not initially believe in Him (John 7:5). But when they later saw evidence, they changed their stance. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is not and can never be compared to Yeshua. However, my point is that if facts prove you were honestly wrong, you showed weakness. But if, after knowing that the facts have exonerated a person you once vilified, yet you continue your vilification, then you are no longer showing weakness; you are displaying wickedness, bordering on full-scale witchcraft! Thanks again, Larry, and may God bless you. Bemigho Reno Omokri

The presidential candidate thought it would be business as usual after spending years portraying the 2023 election as a religious war against the Muslims and weaponizing ethnic sentiments for political gain. He deliberately mainstreamed identity politics, turning religion and tribe into campaign tools in a manner Nigerians could clearly see. But the Church and Christians have moved beyond the deception, fear-mongering and political theatrics. They understand that leadership should be judged by competence, character and capacity not by attempts to divide citizens along religious or ethnic lines like Peter Obi is always doing. Thank you to the Church for refusing to be drawn into tribal politics once again. Nigeria deserves unity, responsible leadership and issue-based politics not endless division disguised as a movement.
“We stand with him even beyond 2027” — Charismatic Bishops Endorse Tinubu The Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election, declaring its continued support for his administration. The bishops said their support is based on their assessment of Tinubu’s leadership and policies, pledging to continue standing with him through prayers, advocacy and support for initiatives they believe will advance Nigeria’s development. This is another significant endorsement for President Tinubu as the 2027 political season gathers momentum.

🔥🔥🔥In SIXTEEN YEARS, 2007 to 2023, Nigeria's 774 local governments received ₦23.1 trillion in total. In the last TWO YEARS alone they received ₦10.5 trillion. Almost half of sixteen years. In twenty four months. Bring it down to one council. Alimosho collected ₦81.5bn across those sixteen years. It now collects that same amount in two years and eight months. Abuja Municipal took ₦80.1bn in sixteen years. It now does it in under five. And it is not a big city story: Kwaya Kusar, Borno: ₦183m a month before ➝ ₦383m now Ogori/Magongo, Kogi: ₦189m ➝ ₦396m Remo North, Ogun: ₦188m ➝ ₦813m Every council in this country is holding money no chairman before it ever saw. Most of us still cannot name the man holding it. What is your LGA? 👇 Next time they ask you what happened to the money from subsidy, ask them who is their Local Govt Chairman. A true democracy holds everyone accountable not just Mr President @officialABAT #KemKem

THE RENEWED HOPE AGENDA IS WORKING Fellow Nigerians, Our economy grew by 4.43% in the second quarter of 2026, up from 4.23% in the same period last year. Growth was recorded across agriculture, manufacturing, oil and gas, and services, which now make the largest contribution to our GDP. In nominal terms, our GDP reached ₦119.27 trillion, up 18.43% from ₦100.7 trillion in the same period last year. These numbers matter because they show where our economy is going after three years of difficult but necessary reforms.

Does The FBI Have Any Criminal Record on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu? Recently, the media has been awash with sponsored reports and headlines claiming that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation has released so-called "criminal records" of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to a U.S. judge, Honourable Howell Beryl, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. These reports have since been amplified on social and traditional media by the President's political opponents, who have further asserted that the President is fighting to keep those records from the public. These claims are untrue, and these individuals and their surrogates are using clever semantics to deceive the public. Unlike some of these groups and media organisations, I physically went to Chicago, Illinois, between September 18 and 20, 2022, to investigate these claims and found them to be fallacious. President Bola Tinubu has no criminal record in the United States, Nigeria, or anywhere else, and the FBI has not provided any criminal record on the President to anyone because none exists. Yes, FBI records may contain his name, but they are NOT criminal records. Please fact-check me: The US FBI regularly keeps billions of non-criminal files on American citizens and residents, as well as foreign nationals, through the FBI's Central Records Systems and Next Generation Identification database. For example, if you have ever applied for a US visa, the FBI likely has a record on you. This is because the FBI conducts MANDATORY background screenings on behalf of the Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security on US visa applicants. Thus, as a US citizen or resident, or even as a foreign national, if your name is run through the FBI databases, it is likely to bring up hundreds of pages of records. This does not mean that the records are criminal. In most cases, they will be benign. Such records may include personal biometric, biographical, and financial information, such as fingerprints, DNA, bank statements, and other private records. Would you, as an individual, want your private records released to your political opponents, even if they were non-criminal? However, on the specific issue of criminal records, the Nigerian public should be made aware that the FBI has itself stated that it has no CRIMINAL records involving Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. This was made known as far back as Monday, February 3, 2003, when the then Governor of Lagos, Mr Bola Tinubu, was having political issues with the then incumbent President. The then Inspector General of Police, Mr Tafa Balogun, wrote to the Embassy of the United States, seeking information on any FBI criminal records involving Mr Bola Tinubu, and got a response back the next day from them giving the all clear as regards any criminal records involving Mr Tinubu. This was consistent with my findings when I visited Chicago in 2022, as a member of the opposition, to establish the truth about then-Presidential candidate Bola Tinubu's academic and other records. Nigerians may want to find attached the response from the Embassy of the United States absolving the then-Governor of Lagos of any wrongdoing or criminal conduct, charges, or activity whatsoever. Those who may question the authenticity of this document may also wish to contact the US Embassy in Abuja or Lagos for clarification. The US Embassy in Abuja may be contacted via ConsularAbuja@state.gov. Bemigho Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
