#WilliamReaves faces execution tomorrow in Florida. William is the 14th veteran who's been scheduled for execution by Ron DeSantis, who himself is a veteran. William returned from service irreparably changed - battling PTSD that led to substance abuse.

Even if the unborn aren't people like you and I, abortion is still violence. #antiviolence #stopthekilling #abortion #endabortion #prolifeapologetics
When abortion fetishists like this talk about ‘dignity’ and what’s ‘barbaric’, just ignore them

Always funny to see pro-choicers condemn ‘good Christians’ who are advocating for the death penalty.
‘How dare they endorse that kind of killing’

Shooting someone with a child in the car is insane!

The execution will be televised!

Texas is planning to execute #JamaalHoward in just two days when he should be receiving a competency hearing. Jamaal lives with tremendous intellectual disabilities... a fact that should make him exempt from the death penalty. But we know that both the State and Supreme Court pay little regard to the supposed prohibition on executing those with intellectual disabilities.

“Helen Prejean, a Catholic nun who is perhaps the best-known advocate for abolition of the death penalty in America after her book Dead Man Walking was turned into a film of the same name, told the Guardian that the events on Wednesday night were the definition of cruelty.
“This is the essence of cruelty. Take a conscious, imaginative human being, give her a date for her death, have her anticipate it over and over again, and then take her out and try and kill her. She was rendered defenceless as they deliberately attempted to kill her - what greater mental torture for a human being is there?”
Prejean added that she hoped the agony Pike had endured “would be redemptive for others, and help to wake up the nation”.”
Lots of ‘pro-lifers’ now wanting euthanasia as a back up for when the death penalty goes wrong!

#ChristaPike’s horrific botched execution attempt has sparked calls to end the death penalty. But in a few days, attention will fade. Don’t let your outrage fade with it. Join organizations fighting for abolition. Stay involved. It’s time to #EndTheDeathPenalty
The most common execution method in Ireland. Is this ‘barbaric’ and ‘inhumane’? Does this have a place in a ‘civilised’ country? #ConsistentLifeEthic

The death penalty is awful and has no place in society, ever, anywhere.

The gloating of Irish politicians about the fact that Ireland doesn’t have as barbaric a practice as the death penalty when most of them support abortion is truly a sight to behold.
