Any normal thinking person understands that if you murder 400 people in one night, you've breached international humanitarian law.
Yesterday David Lammy was unequivocal and clear that Israel is breaking international law in Gaza. Today Number 10 contradicts that and says it is merely βat risk of breachingβ the law. It is an extraordinary position to put the Foreign Secretary in - who will now have to say why he was wrong, or why Number 10 is wrong. For the FCDO press office to also contradict the Foreign Secretary is bizarre.
