Noticing your high-speed cellular data running down faster than expected—even when hanging out on home Wi-Fi? Check your phone settings! iOS & Android have default settings that switch to cellular data if Wi-Fi stutters, silently burning through your allowance.
On iPhone:
1️⃣ Settings → Cellular
2️⃣ Scroll to bottom
3️⃣ Toggle off Wi-Fi Assist
On Android:
1️⃣ Settings → Connections (or Network & internet) → Wi-Fi
2️⃣ Tap Intelligent Wi-Fi (or 3 dots)
3️⃣ Turn off Switch to mobile data

Once turned off, your phone stays strictly on Wi-Fi whenever connected!
