Launched on 13 May 2016, it was the longest-running perpetual swap contract in crypto. And until we are told otherwise, the longest running derivatives contract of any kind, given TradFi still trades on contracts that expire.

I used to think PM was a bullshit job. And yet here we are hiring PMs as we grow quickly.
It’s easy to understand once you’re at the top of an org. A company is a machine with lots of moving parts. In order for the whole system to function, all the parts need to work together as seamlessly as possible.
Someone who is great at the work (media buyer, engineer, etc) is likely not great at being organized and keeping work organized. And even if they are, it is usually most cost effective to have someone who is an organizational savant take that on so the person doing the work can spend more time in their zone of greatness.
I think the only people who find PMs annoying are the people who need PMs the most.
