African chiefs and leaders are equally to blame for the transatlantic slave trade and the Arab slave trade.
Africans can’t hide behind victimhood, when they played a pivotal role.
If you say it was a tiny % then so were Europeans who bought and sold slaves… difference is at least Europeans improved their countries with the proceeds unlike wealthy Africans who only kept their money among the elite while the rest languished in poverty … bit like today really.
