Breaking: The Lancet - one of the most respected medical journals in the world - estimates that even if Israel halted hostilities immediately, the total death toll of Palestinians in Gaza would reach at least 186,000, including indirect deaths from disease, starvation, lack of drinkable water and lack of healthcare infrastructure.
The researchers stress that this is a conservative estimate and that the number could be much higher. Recent global conflicts have seen the number of indirect deaths reach as many as 15 deaths for every person directly killed in conflict. Using that formula, the total death toll in Gaza could be well over half a million people.
And this is if Israel stopped the bombing and shooting as well as ending the blockade of food and water TODAY. Reports show that the opposite is happening as Israel has resumed its bombing campaign in North and Central Gaza in recent days.

@CityPowerJoburg - Auckland Park Block 7 has no power since 8pm - 3 hours and nothing is happening. Call was logged - just says allocated but nothing else. Please provide info.
