Nearly 10 years and many production phones and OSs installed and Maps still tells me what environment it’s pointed at.
Apple Friends: I finally updated to Apple One! I use iCloud Music Library. I play music on my iPhone, but my macOS song last played date does not update in the songs list. Anyone know why? FB13303166 and related.
I learned why! I had to turn on Home Sharing?!? And I had to search user forums to find this out. Ugh.
mac heads: How do I completely disable only the "fast forward"⏩and "rewind"⏪keyboard keys? I hit them incorrectly frequently for many years now, when all I want to do is toggle play/pause. I like to imagine I'm listening to vinyl. Thanks!
Trying to figure out when I got these T-shirts. @superchunk
I🖤music. I have off and on back ups the iTunes XML files since 2006. Once those were deprecated, I wrote a tool with the API to create json files. Recently I finally wrote a tool to read those and put them all into a sqlite db.

Not sure how many long time mac people will see this, but I realized I could keep my 30 year old OpenGL code working on M1/Ventura today. :) github.com/bolsinga/carnival
Searching for SwiftUI Tips can be frustrating. Many examples from years ago not demonstrating best modern practices. I wish developer.apple.com was full of documentation **and** examples. There are many sites showing how to do things w/o modern practices. Mimic those!
I made an app! It finds and fixes missing artwork in Music. Check it out!

Any SwiftUI macOS focus experts out there? I'm not able to figure this one out. Thanks!

I have an Xcode project that has a Swift Package Mgr dependency. I can build and run locally fine. If I use xcodebuild from the cmd line, it fails to find the module defined by the SPM. Any Ideas, Apple Dev friends? github.com/bolsinga/MissingA… Thanks!
