Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari's last words,
spoken during a livestreamed Mass on October 17, 2026, focused on the transience of life and devotion to God and family.
Minutes before a large wooden crucifix fell from the wall of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador, he told the congregation: "One day, all of us here will also die, and sometimes the time we've spent on things doesn't have as much meaning as the time we spend with God".
He continued by urging people to prioritize
"the quality time we give to God, to our brothers and sisters, to our husbands, wives, children, and family - that time is the best spent".
During the sermon he also asked parishioners to put down their phones and devote time to God and loved ones, and he had just begun another prayer asking God to bless those present when the crucifix detached.
The Archdiocese of Guayaquil confirmed Father Sánchez Molinari, 53, died the same day. A Eucharist in his memory was scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026, and the circumstances of why the crucifix fell remain under review.

It’s actually so fitting that Kelly Mason Lichter and David Jolly have teamed up, and not only for the obvious reason that Kelly covets everything Byron and Erika Donalds have built and hates them for it, but also because they have the same modus operandi. In 2022, Kelly Lichter (that was the name she went by then) conned the Collier County Republican Executive Committee and certain Republican leaders and influencers into endorsing and supporting her run for school board. The biggest issue at the time was who would be selected to replace our outgoing lesbian liberal Superintendent. Needless to say, conservatives were fired up to get a conservative in that seat, and Kelly Lichter promised her supporters she would lead the charge to get that done. Well, she won the election and I kid you not—the second she got in she flipped the script, abandoned the party and all her supporters, and voted for the establishment candidate to become superintendent and against the conservative outsider she promised to support. And that’s exactly what David Jolly will do. He’s running as a “moderate,” but if he were to get elected Governor he would waste no time enacting every radical, leftist, socialist policy his DSA cronies want him to champion. Florida, don’t be fooled by David Jolly the way Collier County was fooled by Kelly Mason Lichter. Our schoolchildren are still paying the price.
