A while ago I tweeted about @steampipeio. It's a very cool tool for querying an AWS environment (and a bunch of other cloudy things)
v0.7 came out this week and added a feature I requested back then: querying across multiple accounts and regions 🤩

Shoutout to @steampipeio. I'm floored by how awesome this was. I remember reading about it but didn't have a chance. Wish I had checked this out earlier! 🎉🎉🎉
Why are all the crypto coin topics on twitter crowding the technology topic space instead of under finance?

1/ @CISecurity just released a new v1.4.0 Benchmark for @awscloud. A thread on what is interesting and new (with commentary)
7/ Ensure all data in Amazon S3 has been discovered, classified and secured 'when required' — The remediation section just shows how to enable Amazon Macie for your buckets, but many orgs will have their own tooling/approach here.
8/ So happy to see that Steampipe is the first tooling to support the v1.4 benchmark: hub.steampipe.io/mods/turbot… It speaks loudly to the power of the open source community. If you want to run a quick 1.4 scan Just clone the repo and run the controls:
