If I were secret service detail I'd drive that thing to the nearest KFC drive-thru, then tell him to get out snd and find his own way home
The members of the @SecretService presidential protective division do serve to risk their lives for the president.
But not in this frivolous way.
Trump is a deeply psychologically unwell man.
And he's a pathetic and complete disgrace.

What self pitying claptrap. Your colleagues at the Trib also spoke their mind, and you seem to bristle at their right to. My grandfather was driven out of czarist Russia by pogroms fueled by the same sort of anti-semitic tropes you trafficked in. Stop whining.
During the #GeorgeSoros false narrative against me, I am overwhelmed by the kindness and support of readers. Thank you. Let's fight #CancelCulture together to preserve what's important. Americans speak their mind. My column

As debates continue around police reform, focus can’t just be on big cities. Suburbs also need to be part of the conversation. Latest @BetterGov piece for @CrainsChicago Forum. By @JaredRutecki: bettergov.org/news/police-sh…
Isnt this also his way of setting a predicate for wriggling out of debates, where he would be on the defensive over his coronavirus response and the related economic free fall? After all, if the election is not legit, no need to debate?
Replying to @ktumulty
Entirely possible to cover many subjects at once -- including the fact that the president of the United States has made an unconstitutional proposal on a day when the GDP is crashing.
Isn't this also his way of setting a predicate to wriggle out of debates? If the election is going to be a fraud, the tortured Trump logic might go, then no need to debate.

Trump can't salvage his reelection from the Briefing Room, or by conjuring racially charged nightmares of civil unrest. Americans know all too well what their lives look like in 2020. They are in touch with reality, even if their president is not. washingtonpost.com/opinions/…
Let's not forget the long ago Denny Tribune column rant about the horrors of seeing signs in Spanish at his local Home Depot. Sad to see a once thoughtful guy descend into crackpotism, but shame on the Trib edit board for long giving him the forum to do it.

This is the sort of informative, deeply researched story by veteran reporter that used to be seen as something that created value for Tribune readers. Too bad the greedy schlock meisters at Alden don't get that. chicagotribune.com/news/envi…
So Trump is worried about non existent mail in voter fraud but his own administration sends out $1.5 billion in stimulus checks to dead people because they didn't bother to check social security death records.
Next, they can have you reminisce about your days as a vacuum salesman.
Now not only can my daughter listen to my stories about my childhood, you can too if you listen to @WBBMNewsradio. Recalling watching the filming of the Blues Brothers in 1979. Thanks for reaching out @RobHartWBBM: wbbm780.radio.com/media/audi…

.@rap30's @SundaySpin had been a Sunday morning tradition, the Chicago/Illinois version of Face the Nation or Meet the Press, but with personality and the matter-of-fact benefit of Rick's singular institutional political knowledge. Sorry to see it go. Tune in for one last time.
The guest lineup for the final edition of the @SundaySpin on WGN Radio will be a roundtable of our favorite contributors: @bobsecter, @brianbernardoni, @EricEElk and @wttw’s @AmandaVinicky. Tune in for a great conversation about what lies ahead in 2020. 5-7pm.
This is such Washington insider b.s. Bolton, to cute too chicken to tell his story to the House, lags this info to Axios which plays along and attributes it to a "source." And Bolton slaps Dems for only focusing on Ukraine when there were other things he knew about but didnt tell
Huh. Seems this information might have been particularly germane, oh, five or six months ago.

Since Lightfoot once served on the BGA board, you would think she would know better
Mayor Lori Lightfoot has held several conference call meetings with aldermen in 2020 w/o prior public notification. They “violated nearly every meaningful requirement" of the Open Meetings Act. Today, the @BetterGov sued: bettergov.org/news/bga-sues-…
I was honored to be a guest on Rick's first show in 2013 and am honored to be a guest on the last one Sunday at 5 pm. The guy is such a sentimentalist.

I always appreciated joining the show and our many discussions over the years. A loss for an informed listnership, but a great run.
