Anyone recognize this scene? The lighting is messed up still but this is running on Quest 3 right now.

Using the Astrobot PSVR emulation on Quest as a guide I've been able to boot more PSVR experiences on the Quest 3 today. This is the Kingdom Hearts Experience that was only ever on PSVR as far as I know. I can also boot both Playstation Worlds and the PSVR Demo Disc so far but both of those need a lot of work to run and be playable if they ever will. Standalone anyways, they work on PCVR ok already.

Every day I wake up to more and more VR mods...I'm never going to be able to play all of these 😅

Unfortunately if you hate AI and want to boycott anything that uses AI for coding or making VR games I have a feeling you're gonna have to stop playing most big games in the future. Most any games likely. With the money it costs to actually make AAA games these days and gaming in general being in a bad position and the amount of VR devs I know that are using AI to save months of time coding while still architecting the code I feel like AI coding and game work is going to become the norm.

Man, the VR scene is getting toxic these days. Why don't we just all enjoy VR and keep your ignorance to yourself. The stupid elitist console War mindset is bull and all it does is create an environment where other people can put other people down and feel good about themselves for being ignorant, which is the dumbest thing ever.

Don't get me wrong I am in love with all of the mods coming out and I love working on them as well. They are really keeping the gaming side of VR exciting during this down time of layoffs and closures BUT the PCVR elitism is getting much worse because of it. Just because these amazing games are becoming playable in VR in a large part because of AI, doesn't make the last several years void of purpose and meaning for standalone VR. There is still a large standalone only audience. I also can't help feeling bad for the native VR devs still working on projects that get overlooked because of all of the mods coming out. I don't want the mods to stop at all haha but native VR devs still need our support too.

Titanfall 2 VR is just fantastic. Tonight I played it in my living room on my Minisforum G1 Pro, which worked incredibly well by the way, and my son said "this is a VR game? It looks so good." (Talking about the visuals). I never play PCVR at home because my gaming PC is in my studio but this was worth finishing setting up my custom gaming console/VR rig I built with the Minisforum. One button boots the PC and logs into the "console" so I can be playing PCVR within 30 - 45 seconds.

When it comes to VR games, two of the best ever are Lone Echo and Lone Echo 2. Stellar storytelling, unique setting and gameplay, Oscar worthy acting. Just overall stunning. I think it's time to replay them both.

To be totally honest, I don't even care about a lot of these VR mods because I think they'll make good videos... I'm just freaking excited to be eating so good in VR right now that I can actually play games and really enjoy them without even having to make videos.

To be honest I never played Titanfall 2 but holy crap I'm glad I didn't. My first time experiencing the game in the new Titanfall 2 VR mod is blowing my mind. It feels legit like a native VR game and I'm so excited to play through the entire thing.

Got to love when brands take advantage of YouTube creators and don't pay on time for brand deals. I guarantee you they aren't late for their other bills but creators are apparently not the same? I've got bills to pay too just as much as the next person. Just because I make videos and I'm a content creator as a career doesn't mean that I have the luxury of not caring about payments coming in on time.

What are the chances anyone knows any Hallmark or Great American Family casting people? 😅 or really any people who cast for projects. I'd love to be able to audition for some acting gigs. Time to make an acting come back? It's been a while since my stage acting and acting classes but it's always been a dream.

Man this mixed reality prototype for Quest 3 I'm working on is actually starting to show a lot of promise. Still really really rough and early but you can start to see the gameplay loop to some degree.

I heard VR was dead 🤔. It's been a minute but breaking a million views in a month is always surreal.

The more I think about it the more I'm excited for the Meta VR Glasses, just for the sole reason of wanting to consume media. The older I get the more passive I want my night time entertainment and the new glasses sound like an amazing way to watch a sports event or imax movie. Needless to say I'm very excited to try then at the first chance I can get.

Well I knew the reaction so far to today's video was good but I've never seen this before 🤣. Must be extra credit 😅.
